Blue took the ring from his pockets while Adalyn spoke loving words to her son. Beau kept smiling as if he understood what she was saying to him. He watched them as another rush of tears came running down his cheeks. But he didn't wipe them he got in his knee and held up the ring.
"Adalyn" He spoke getting her attention and she looked at him and shock flooded her soft features and a gasp left her lips that got Beau's attention.
"I-I know that we haven't known each other long I want you to know that want to spend the rest of my life with you and Beau. I want to be there for you both, I want to be the who is next to you to celebrate his first birthday, I want to be there when he says his first word, to be there to read him bedtime stories when you're tired, to be there when he messes up, to be there when you're asleep so he and I can sneak cookies from the cookie jar without you knowing, to be there to help him with him homework and to be there as the father figure in his life and as your husband plus more. I want to be with you so you done ever have to feel lonely.
I want us to have children of our own someday, if you want of course. I don't have anything to offer you but my unconditional love for you both. But I promise you that I will work as hard as it takes to provide for all of us and more. I want to wake up to your beautiful smile, your touch and to your frizzy hair and give you good morning kisses every morning and passionate sex every day until we grow old together.

At that moment she reflected everything that had happened to her. All the pain and suffering she had been through and truly asked herself how she left about him.
Truthfully she did love him. She couldn't imagine herself without him in it either, being with him has been the most fun she'd had in years and she wasn't lonely anymore. He always made her feel like she was the only girl in the world, he made her feel free and happy. He loved his smile, she loved his beautiful eyes, his caring, funny, friendly and silly personality, she loved how smart he was, she loved when he kissed her, she loved how he held her and she loved how he looked at her when he thought she wasn't looking. She needed him.
They both needed each other.
