She stared down at her tiny baby in her arms, she held her baby boy carefully in her arms. Hot tears of joy ran down her cheeks as she kept staring at him as he stared back at her.
Her baby boy.
Her little bean.
Her Beau.
He had a cute little nose, his cubby cheeks were a pinkish colour, his little lips were a shade of pale pink and he had blonde curly hair. The three things that shocked her most were his beautiful eyes, how calm he was and he had his smile.
His left eye was a light shade of blue while his right was a light brown colour. One of the kind nurses informed her that he had heterochromia which is when a person has two different colour eyes and that she had no reason to worry.
After she had given birth, she heard a nurse gasp which surprised her and she immediately thought the worst. But the doctor calmed her and told her that she didn't have to worry, it was only that most babies would cry but hers didn't. The male doctor patted her shoulder and told her that her baby was going to be brave and strong.
Happy tears fell.
Lastly, after the doctor and the nurses left the room to give her some time to herself and her new baby boy. He smiled at her.
She felt like crying her eyes out from joy, she laughed to herself then looked at Blue who stood quietly next to her. She almost forgot he was in the room with her.
He was absolutely beautiful.
Blue stared at her baby boy with tears in his green eyes with emotions such as love and joy. Even though he wasn't really her husband or his the baby's father, a sense of pride and happiness warmed his heart that he could be here with them both.
"I want to name him Beau Benedict Adams" She said with a bright smile on her lips.
Blue repeated the name as he wiped his eyes and sniffled.
"He looks just like you and it's beautiful" He told her sincerely.
(That's the only picture I could find for Beau's eye colours and from a boy)
