She stopped behind a restaurant and stared into the garbage. She thought about her family, her life, him, how fortunate she had been, the poor people she saw on the streets when she went out, how hungry they must've been, her situation.
She dug into the garbage.
This is what it is now. This was her life.
Some people passed and pointed at her and whispered. Some even stopped and took pictures.
She tired ignored them but fresh tears ran down her cheeks. From embarrassment and shame.
She found some bread and a quarter box of orange juice. Then ran back to her home- the abandoned church.
