Silence

Silent Air surrounds the surroundings as we eat. We are now back home and eating silently with my parents. I wanted to ate outside and have an alone an romantic dinner date with Chaeyoung but she had other plan. She wants us to eat with my parents and reveal our relationship. I wanted to kept it hidden for a while but she don't. She said that she loves our parents so she wants them to be the first one to know about us. I'm worried though. My parents are understanding, kind, ans supportive to me but will they accept me? Accept us?

That leads to this. Silence. I should start and just say it but I can't seem find my voice right now.I continue to eat as I busied myself with my food and formulate words to say in my mind.I heard my father clean her non itchy throat getting my attention. I look at him as I see in the corner of my eye that Chaeyoung did the same. Dad place down the utensils in his plate and look at us.

"So.. What is it?" he said. He seems to expect already that we wanted so say something.

"I"

"We're" I started to say but unable to continue.

"MINA just say it." My mom said as she gets irritated waiting for my next words.

"WE'REACOUPLE" I rushly said.

"Say it slowly, honey." my dad said.

"We are a couple. Mina and I are a couple now. I hope you give us your blessings." Chaeyoung said on my behalf.

My parents look alternately to the both of us. I gaze down avoiding their eyes as I wait for them to say something. I heard the chairs' movement as both of them stand up. Nervousness fill up my entire body.

I felt arms above my shoulder as I gaze behind and saw my dad hugs me. I look beside me and saw my mom did the same to Chaeyoung.

"We're happy for you, dear." my dad said as my mom nods. I felt my eyes waters as tears silently fall down.

They supports us. My parents are happy for us. I feel so much happy and relieve at the same time. There is nothing better in the world that the people I love can give other than them being happy and supports me on this which makes me the happiest person in the world.

"Thank you, dad and mom." I said gratefully.

"We're glad you're happy, our daughter, our forever baby, our Angel. You're happiness is our happiness." dad said as I smile at him.

"Though, you kinda take time just to admit it to us. I even need to speak first." he smiled.

"Right, hon. I thought she will never spoke." my mom said. My mom stops hugging Chaeyoung but not without squeezing her cute cheeks. "Chaeyoung even need to be the to said it properly. Mina we did not raise you to be coward." She sat back down and my dad did the same.

They're teasing me.

"Yes love, we didn't. And as if, we didn't know what is going to happen after their date." my dad agreed to mom.

I look at both of them wide eyes. "You knew. How? This is unbelievable."

"You're unbelievable. How can we not know when you are too much excited yesterday when you two came home until before you left for your date. You're like 'Dad, Mom, Chaeyoung and I are going to the Amusement Park.' 'Chaeyoung and I are going to do this and do that.' 'What should I wear Mom. This red or this pink.'" my dad said teasingly as he tried to copy my voice but he exaggerated it.

"I was not like that!" I whined raising my voice.

"You are." my mom said.

"I'm Not." I denied.

"You are sweety. I was bewildered by your action and when your dad and I talk about it last night, he made me realize what is it. Though I was little against it at first since you're both girls, my girls to be exact. But, you're dad is right. You're happiness come first and there is no one other than Chaeyoung whom we trust. We practically raise her in just two weeks and a half. She grow up too fast but not too much." mom said and Chaeyoung looks at my mom shocked. My mom is teasing her now.

"Don't worry Chaeyoung baby. We love you and we're fine having you stay this cute." mom said to her.

"We're more than fine actually. Mina grows too much. She is a woman now. But you Chaeyoung are going to be a baby for us, forever." my dad said.

I laugh at them. My parents are a tease, really. But I'm happy that they love Chaeyoung.

"Yah. Don't baby me to much. I'm grown up too. Right Minari?" Chaeyoung whined and looks at me asking for help.

"You're a baby though" I said as she pouted. "But you're my baby." I smiled.

Both of my parents pretended to gag but I ignored them as I continue giving Chaeyoung my loving gaze.

"Right, I'm your baby." she proudly said. We all laugh at that.

This is such a great day. Me being surrounded by the people I love. Us being happy just by being together.
