Pre-Born

1 month later...

Camila is taking a bath, with Lauren helping her bathe. The green eyes girl rubs at her belly then up to her shoulder, down her arm afterward.

"I love how you bathe me," Camila takes Lauren's hand in hers, kissing the back of the green-eyed girl's hand.

Lauren smiles and kisses Camila's lips. "You're so beautiful," Lauren whispers. The green-eyed girl continues what she was doing.

Not even seconds later, Camila lets out a long groan then a scream.

"What is it?" Lauren asks worriedly.

"It felt like a contraction," Camila groans.

"You're not due until 3 more months, " Lauren helps Camila up.

Camila lets out another scream as the dogs rush in.

"Okay let's take you to the hospital," Lauren helps Camila down the stairs. Lauren grabs her keys, opens the front door, and closes it. She unlocks her car, helping Camila into the passenger side. Lauren rushes to the driver's side and turns the car on. She pulls out of the driveway and starts en route to the closest hospital.

Camila lets out another scream searching for Lauren's hand. Lauren takes hold of Camila's hand letting out a groan of pain. Lauren swerves into the entry of the hospital, parks her car on the curb, and gets out. Some nearby doctors look over and immediately rush over.

"What wrong?" The male asks.

"She in labor," Lauren runs her hand through her hair.

"Go get a wheelchair, hurry up!!!" The doctor demands.

Three doctors rush in and come back out with a wheelchair. They help Camila sit down in the wheelchair as they rush her into the emergency room. Lauren stands beside Camila as they set her up.

"Okay start pushing," The doctor says.

Camila starts pushing but instead blood comes out.

"No, no stop something is wrong," The doctor says. "Ms. Cabello I think you have a pre-born we need to do a C-section," The doctor says. "Ms. Jauregui we need you to exit the room, please," The doctor directs towards the green-eyed girl.

Lauren looks down at Camila, worriedly, but follows the doctor's orders. Hours later the doctor comes out to the waiting lounge and Lauren stands up. "What happened?" Lauren asks worriedly.

"It went great it is a pre-born so we have to keep her here and take care of it for 3 months. We also ran tests on the baby and we came to find out she has asthma."

"What asthma?!" Lauren asks.

"Being pre-born she came out with medical problems we can help with asthma but she will be under our surveillance for a couple of months up to a year," The doctor explains.

"How about my girlfriend, how is she?" Lauren asks.

"She's resting right now, do you wanna go see your pre-born?" The doctor asks.

"Of course," Lauren smiles.

The doctor leads Lauren down to the nursery and to a large incubator. "There she is Ms. Jauregui," The doctor smiles.

Lauren plants her hand on the glass, eyeing the small baby. She bites her lower lip as she sees all the wires connected to her and every necessary thing to help her stay alive. She can tell the small infant has her green eyes and Camila's features and hair. The infant is just as pale as Lauren but still a faint tan like Camila.

"Can I go see my girlfriend?" Lauren asks the doctor.

"Of course follow me," The doctor says.

The doctor leads Lauren to Camila's hospital room and points at it. "This is the room," He says and leaves the girl alone.

Lauren opens the door and bites her lower lip when she sees her girlfriend sleeping. Lauren closes the door, sits next to Camila, and pulls her phone out. Lauren dials Sinu's number and waits for her to pick up.

"Hello?" Sinu picks up.

"Hi Sinu, so Camila went into labor, I know she still had 3 more months so I guess it was a pre-born, can you please inform my parents and drive over here I'll send you the hospital address," Lauren informs the older woman.

"Of course Lauren we'll see you in a couple of hours," Sinu says and hangs up.

Lauren puts her phone away and looks over at Camila. She takes the brunette's hand in hers and interlocks their fingers together, kissing it.
