Feels Like New

Popping The Question

Lauren runs her finger over the rhinestones of the ring. She hears the door open and she puts the ring back inside her pocket.

"What are you doing?" Camila asks, kissing Lauren's shoulder.

"Nothing," Lauren kisses Camila's temple. "How's Autumn?"

"Sleeping. I wish she didn't have all this stuff attached to her," Camila frowns.

"I know baby but it's to keep her alive, she'll make it through if she's our baby than she's strong like you," Lauren pinches Camila chin lightly.

"You mean like us, " Camila points between them.

"Like us," Lauren whispers.

Lauren helps Thunder outside of her car as she takes Cleo in her arms. Lauren called Zayn in advance so they can take care of the dogs and of Autumn. Lauren wants to pop the question without any disturbances so luckily Camila showed Ally how to take care of Autumn correctly.

Thunder runs up ahead of both his parents. He never really needed a leash, he's not those types of dogs to run away and never comeback in fact if he does runaway he always finds his way home but that's rare to happen. Camila knocks on the door as they wait for it to open.

"Do you need help baby?" Lauren asks Camila when she sees her struggling with the bag full of supplies.

"Please," Camila begs, making the green-eyed girl smile.

Lauren takes the bag of supplies as the door opens.

"Oh my God!" Dinah chirps and carefully takes Autumn in her arms.

Camila laughs and both parents step in as Thunder runs into the living room. Lauren puts Cleo down as she closes the door with her foot. They walk into the living room where everybody else is. Everybody hugs each of the two girls one by one obviously missing them a lot.

"How you guys been?" Lauren asks all of them.

"Magnificent," They all respond, laughing.

Lauren smiles and turns to Ally. "We have to go. You know what to do and please be careful with her," Lauren says, looking at Dinah.

"Bitch alright damn I will."

Lauren kneels down next to Thunder and scratches behind his ear. "Listen closely baby boy," Lauren whispers to the dog. Thunder pears his ears up looking up at the green-eyed girl. "You'll be in charge of both your sisters tonight I'm counting on you, okay?" Thunder howls as if he understood what Lauren said. "Good boy," Lauren smiles. The green-eyed girl stands up and wraps an arm around Camila's waist.

"We'll be on our way. Take care of them," Lauren smiles.

They all respond with a 'you got it' and the couple exits the house.

"Are you sure they'll be okay? Dinah and Normani are reckless," Camila laughs.

"They'll be fine that's why Ally and Niall are in charge of Autumn," Lauren opens the door for her girlfriend. She helps the brunette in and gets inside the driver's side herself. Lauren starts driving to her destination and when they get there Camila immediately smiles at the familiar park.

"Why did you bring me here?" Camila asks her girlfriend.

"Shh, you'll see baby girl." Lauren gets out along with Camila. The green-eyed girl holds her hand out which the younger Cuban takes in hers, locking their fingers together. Lauren leads both of them to the all too familiar bench. She sits down as the brunette sits in front of her. "It's beautiful out," Lauren smiles.

"It is," Camila looks up at the gleaming stars and beaming moon.

Lauren reaches into her pocket clutching the ring in her palm. "It's magical," She looks up at the moon.

"She always is," Camila smiles.

"Camila..." Lauren speaks up.

Camila hums and looks over at her girlfriend. She sees how nervous the girl is and she furrows her eyebrows. "Why are you so nervous?"

"Because of this." Lauren holds up the ring and Camila bites a lower lip sustaining a smile.

"Could've been more romantic about it," Camila jokes.

"I don't need to be," Lauren stands up. She kneels down next to Camila with a nervous smile. "What do you say, baby girl? Will you marry me? Be Camila Cabello Jauregui Cabello, be my wife, mine and only for as long as we both shall live," Lauren holds the ring up.

"Do I need to give you my answer?" Camila smiles brightly as the moonlight.

Lauren slides the ring in and picks Camila up. Camila hugs the green-eyed girl back, kissing her temple. Lauren puts Camila down and plants a sweet kiss on her lips. "I love you, Camila. I love you so much," She whispers, lips touching with the brunettes.

"I love you too Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado " Camila pecks Lauren's lips again.

Lauren hugs the brunette close, not ever wanting to let her go.
