Varian was running through the forest with Ruddiger carrying a map and a bag of special supplies. He had just left Corona and looking back he saw he was not being followed. But he was not going to stop yet. He was heading to Mystic Falls, a place where his mother grew up. There was lush fertile soil, trees, and bushes full of fruit and berries. And most of all there was life everywhere. In the land, sea, and air.
Varian heard a wolf howl, the wolf came into view and turned human. "Who are you," Varian said "Hello, Quirin's son I am Gilbert," The werewolf said. "How do you know me," he said, " I was your father's adviser before he left the clan for a mortal he replied" "Ummm, I'm sorry my father is not a werewolf". What makes you so sure", Varian looked taken back he did not know how to reply.
Werewolves gathered around him and bowed. He felt extremely uncomfortable "Your father was the future leader of our clan he left for a mortal but now that you are here we finally have a leader," Gilbert said with excitement. Come we have much to discuss.
