Young dumb and broke|| JJ Outerbanks

Chapter 1

I sit in my room blasting Post Malone when I hear a honk from outside I open my window and see the beat up Volkswagen sitting in my driveway.

"Let's go Jenna hurry up!" John B yells to me "Ok calm down captain cockass!" I yell back at him I walk into my bathroom and I quickly change into a bathing suit putting a t-shirt over it.

I slip on my white vans and I walk into the kitchen "Hey nana my friends are here. I'm heading out" I tell her smiling "Ok sweetheart I just finished making some cookies they are on the counter take them with you and where were you last night?" she asks as I grab the plateful of cookies. "I was doing some late night surfing" I tell her smiling.

The truth is I was hooking up with Rafe which I do quite often. We used to date but we didn't work out as a relationship so we just hook up a few times a week.

I walk out to the van and the back door slides open "Finally we were waiting like four hours for your slow ass" Kiara says to me "Yeah yeah" I say ignoring her.

"Are those your grandmas cookies?" Pope asks excited I nod and he immediately snatches one off of the plate as I get into the van. "God Pope have some manners no hi Jenna? How's your day Jenna? Just taking my food." I say he stops then I laugh and kiss his cheek.

I walk to the passenger seat and JJ is sitting there "You're in my seat sunshine" I tell him giving a sarcastic smile he rolls his eyes "Nice to see you too babe" he tells me and pulls me down sitting me on his knee.

You might be thinking 'oh my god are you dating JJ?' and my answer to that question is no. I don't know why he calls me babe he just does and he's been doing it since I can remember.

"Do you want a cookie JJ?" I ask and he takes one from the plate "John B?" I ask and he steals one from the plate. "Here ya go Kie" I say passing the plate back to her "You aren't gonna have any?" she asks I shake my head "Nah my stomach isn't feeling it right now" I tell her smiling she eyes me and then takes the plate from me.

"You ok?" JJ whispers to me I turn and look at him "Yeah I'm good I took some medicine this morning" I tell him then I kiss his cheek.

"So where are we going today?" I ask looking at John B "We are going to the house they are building in figure eight" he says "Oh I love that house!" I say happily.

John B is standing on the roof of the house.

"Should I jump?" He asks "Do it I'll jump after you!" I yell to him and I laugh.

"The hell you will" JJ mumbles and pulls me over to him.

"That's what a three story fall to the deck? I give you about a one in three chance of survival." Pope challenges John B smirks and lifts his arms like he's on the titanic.

"Never let go Jack" I yell at him and he laughs.

"You should jump I'll shoot you on the way down" Pope jokes John B rolls his eyes.

"They're going to have japanese toilets with towel warmers" Kiara says as she walks out of the house "Of course they will" Pop says disgusted.

"That's not fair my towels are always regular temperature" I pout JJ chuckles at me and hugs me from behind.

"We're meeting up at your house after right?" He whispers to me and I nod. I push his arms off of me "It's hot" I say I take off my shirt.
