He was looking at her. His face a fine line of worry. They were others in the room but somehow Regina wasn't interested in them . She was interested in the person in front of her . His eyes....his eyes how could she explain it...his eyes were a mystery. As deep as the ocean and yet fiery like the fires. Or maybe a mixture of both.
Those eyes held her like she was the centre of his universe...like she was made for him ...like others don't matter. Apart from her mother , father and Oliver. Noone has ever looked at her like that. "estas en ordo . I am here for you Mia Chem. Dream no more. "
" dream...dream" she was confused...it looked real. So real . How could she tell them of what she had seen and heard in her dreams . How could she explain to him the reality of her dreams . The bitter truth that they weren't meant to be. She couldn't and even if she could she wouldn't.
So she nodded and requested for a cup of water . Her hands shaking as she held the goblet. He supported her shaking hands and fed her the water .
" your queen lives you may all leave now" he said and one by one people began to mutter " bless the queen " and made Thier exit . Leaving her alone with her husband .
The room suddenly felt stuffy for her as his piercing eyes watched her . " I am fine now " she said an invitation for him to leave but he was having none of it as he pretended not to hear her but continued watching her.
" your soul summoned m'eldaar in your sleep didn't it" he asked making Regina instantly look into his eyes. " how .." how does he know that . Did he also see m'eldaar . Did she talk to him as well .
" tell me what troubles you so . " He asked but she couldn't find an answer for him . " I wanted answers . This place is new to me it's strange . " she said looking away from him . She was afraid she may see hurt in his eyes. She may see the disappointment in those mysterious eyes of his.
" I beg of you great king tell me why you chose me as queen over MARDORS. " she asked . She really did want to know . She needed to know .
" you are perfect for MARDORS . And by far the purest heart . But I did not chose you because MARDORS needed a queen. I chose you to feel alive again. You comfort me. " he said and turned to look at her.
" great king ..." she started determined to find the answers because she was left even more confused . But he had other plans " good night Mia Chem. " he said took her hands in his and gave it a light kiss staying there longer than necessary. Before letting go and leaving the room . Not without leaving Regina more confused than ever.
She tried to calm her beating heart first before realising something else . How did he know she was dreaming about m'eldaar"?
