Changbin kept tapping his pen on the table. He was waiting in the meeting room for the others and of course, Soovin.
"Changbin, can you stop that? It's loud."
His coworker Chan said. Him, Changbin, Seungmin and Jisung were the first ones to arrive before the others. They were also his close friends besides Felix.
"Sorry. Seungmin do we have everything prepared?"
"Yes we do. But maybe you're not."
"He's right. Is YOUR heart prepared?"
Jisung jokes while the others laughed.
"HAHAHA that's so funny Jisung! But you know what's funnier? Seeing dead squirrels on the side of the road."
Changbin fired back with scarasm in his voice. But had to admit, he couldn't help but feel nervous at the moment. Was HE prepared?

Now everyone has arrived and the only one who was missing was Soovin. The door handle turned and opened.
There she walked in but in Changbin's eyes, she was moving in slow morion. Soovin's look and style has changed. But she still looked beautiful.
"I'm sorry I'm late."
Soovin walked up to Mr Seo as he greeted her with a fatherly hug.
"Oh it's no big deal, Soovin. It's nice to see you again."
Changbin couldn't take his eyes off the woman in front of him. His friends glanced at Soovin and then back at Changbin.
"Good morning everyone. And good morning, Sir Seo Changbin."
Changbin came back to conciousness. He coughed before speaking.
"Hello, Miss Lee."
"Soovin will do. Don't be too formal, it's not like we didn't have a history."
She said with a bold smile plastered on her face. Changbin was once again blanked out so Mr Seo woke him up with a cough.
"Umm son, why don't you inteoduce our architectures to her? I'm sure Soovin would like to get to know them."
"A-ah, yes. Soovin, you already know our coordinators."
Chanbin pointed at Chan, Jisung and Seungmin as they waves at her.
"Of course! I missed you guys."
"We missed you too. Looking good by the way."
Soovin chuckled. Changbin knew he had to prepare for they are going to tease him none stop after this gathering.
"Ehem. This is my secretary and my assistant, Jeongin."
Jeongin greeted her with a bright smile and she did the same.
"Oh, an upgrade I see. What happened to the old one?"
Changbin poked his inner cheek with his tongue. He knew she was trying to provoke him.
"Never mind. I assume it's not that important. Continue."
Changbin finished introducing the workers. Damn she had a completely new era. It was bold, confident, and somewhat hot.
"So, are you going to show us what you've prepared?"
Mr Seo questioned and Soovin nodded.
"Okay. Start whenever you're ready."
Soovin showed her presentaion to them with full of passion and confident and the others listened carefully. She worked so professionally.
"This is my example of a design for a hotel."
"Doesn't it look too dull?"
Changbin said making his father turn his head towards his son. Soovin slightly cocked her head to the side.
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, the lobby looks really simple."
"It's simple but elegant. That's how most of the people like it. It makes them feel comfortable."
Soovin replied confidently.
"It's different now these days. They want something better. And we can do a lot better."
The sensation between them was warming the others up. Changbin's friends just watched in thrill as the two of them discussed.
"Sir Changbin, I thought I was sent here to help you boost the company?"
"You are. But I'm just trying have a civilized clarification here. You won't be the only one working, right? Don't say you don't trust our team."
Soovin scoffed and clapped her hand once after his speech.
"Wow, TRUST! That's a significant word don't you think?"
Changbin stayed hushed. Everyone in the room felt awkward and anxious af. Chan, Jisung and Seungmin were starting to sweat as they were the only ones who knew about their past besides Mr Seo. No fucks, almost everyone in the company knew.
Soovin coughed. This conversation was slowly leading to their past and they both knew it damn well.
"Mr Seo, I don't think I'm needed here. Someone seems to not value what I can bring you to this company. I can't force him, can I?"
She said in a bit lower tone as she grabbed her bag.
"No, I think you misunderstood, Soovin. Changbin doesn't mind at all! Right?"
He shot his son a look. Changbin hesitantly shook his head.
"No....not at all."
"Your presentation was good. I like your style. Well done Soovin."
One of the employer said. Soovin thanked her. They all showered her with compliments and Changbin sighed in defeat.
"Fuck...."
