chapter fourteen

*chapter fourteen*

Lily's pov

it's been three weeks from Christian raped and almost killed me, Jack and I haven't talked about what happened to me, I had choose not to bring it up again, we were still staying in Jack's parents house as I was still too sore to travel back home. I was now able to walk to and from the toilet, but was still too weak and sore to go down stairs. Jack has been brilliant, he has helped me so much and hasn't left my side once from my surgery. Jack was starting to become very weak because he hadn't fed in nearly four weeks, I had offered him some blood but he refused, he said I was his mate not his slave so he wouldn't touch my blood.

Mrs Hansen had told me about all my injuries a few days ago, my tail bone was broken in three places because he went too rough with me, she was afraid I wouldn't be able to walk again, but I recovered well. "what are you thinking about baby?" Jack asked suspiciously raising his eyebrows "nothing sweetie, come lie beside me" I say patting next to me on the bed. Jack smile widely from ear to ear "okay baby" he replies as he jumped into be's beside me, I lift my head and lie gently down on his chest, Jack begins to tickle my shoulder in circular movements, I look up into his eyes "I love you Jack", "I love you too baby" Jack leans down and kisses me on the forehead. Mrs Hansen wraps the door before opening the door and walking through "Lily would you like to come down stairs for your breakfast instead of being stuck in this room" I smiled at her "yes I would love too" I said as I slowly lifted my head off Jack's chest "okay darling it will be ready in five minutes or so" Mrs Hansen walked out, I could hear her walking down the stairs, I looked up at Jack "what's wrong Jack?" "are you sure your up to it Lily?" I sign a little "Jack, I have to it least try, I can't stay up here forever I need to leave this room some time" Jack nods his head agreeing with what I say, I slowly turn my body and put my feet to the ground, Jack runs round the bed in a flash to help me up, I wince a little while I try to stand up, Jack puts his hand round my stomach and back to support me from falling. I slowly walk to the top of the stairs, I take a deep breath before attempting the first step as I move to put my foot down on the lower step I wince more making tears fall down my face "Lily baby, I told you, your not ready" I sigh at him "Jack enough with the I told you so's, I want to go down stairs please just help me", Jack looks hurt and sad, he places a kiss on my lips before slowly lifting me, making sure he didn't hurt me too much, I wrapped my arms around his neck "thank you". Jack walked slowly down the rest of the stairs before walking me into the living room and gently placing me on the couch.

Mrs Hansen came in with a tray and set in down on my knee, "thank you Mrs Hansen, hmm Dippy eggs." I froze, Jack looked at me along with Mrs Hansen and Mr Hansen "Lily, what's wrong" I couldn't speak, Mr Hansen could see what I was thinking as he quickly jumped up and took the tray from my knee, he then turned to Jack and Mrs Hansen "she knows about her father". The room went silent.

Mr Hansen's pov

wait! what!? how does she know about her father being alive, I was planning to tell her when she was fully recovered. "Christian" Lily looked at me strangely "baby who's Christian?" I asked as she was still in shock "the man who did this to me!" she said through clenched teeth. "you all knew, so what he told me is true?" lily said angrily I looked at my mum and dad wondering what to say to her, my dad sat down on the floor and placed his had on her knee "Lily sweetie, we didn't know if it was true, I've been trying to find out where your dad is to see for myself, I haven't found anything yet but I promise you I won't stop looking until I do" Lily looked at me, tears began to roll down her face "why didn't you tell me Jack?" I looked at her apologetically "I'm sorry baby, I did try to talk about it all but you always said you didn't want to talk about it" Lily began to calm "okay sweetie, will you take me back to my room, I don't feel up to being down stairs just yet" I walked over to Lily gently helping her to stand then slowly lifted her and carried her back up to her room before placing her slowly down onto the bed "thank you" she whispered into my ear as she was letting her hands fall from my neck

Lily's pov

I am in so much pain from going down stairs, I wish I had of listened to Jack and stayed up here, Jack lays behind me pulling the blanket up over us both, he puts his arms slowly around me afraid he may hurt my stitches, my stitches aren't very sore anymore they are mostly itchy, Mrs Hansen said I will be able to get them taken out tomorrow, the ones in my face and nose have already been taken out, all that was left on my face was a few yellow bruises that were fading gradually each day and a huge scar, Mrs Hansen opened my face from my jaw line so it's not very noticeable. "Lily I'm sorry I didn't tell you about your father" Jack whispered behind me "I know" was all I could say, I mean I know he's sorry but I still can't believe how he couldn't tell me. My father could be alive and could Also be the reason my mother was dead, in a way I'm Happy that I didn't lose both parents but in another way I'm very angry, how could he order his family killed so he could be with a married woman, my mother and father seemed so Happy together. wait what am I thinking my father's a monster! I turned to face Jack, "Jack can a human be turned into a vampire?" Jack looked mad, I mean really mad, he wasn't expect me to ask him that "Lily are you crazy?, I'm not turning you into a vampire so quit while your ahead" I gulped "just answer me can you?" she sighed "yes Lily you can, now can we please stop talking about this because it will never happen!" I started to get angry "Jack get OUT!" I shouted, Jack stared at me as if I was some sort of mad woman "what!?" he shouted back "you say I'm not your slave and you would do anything for me, then the one thing I ask about you say no even before I have physically asked you too!" I use every ouch of strength I have to push Jack off the bed away from me, he lands on the floor not expecting me to do that "ouchhhhh!" I yell everywhere Indy body hurts so much, Jack jumps up instantly and checks out my body touching me everywhere "Lily are you okay" "leave me alone!" I cry into my pillow. jacks walks out of the room.

after a few minutes I was finally calm, I heard Mr Hansen talking to Jack "you can go in now she isn't angry anymore" I giggle a little, I hear the front door slam opened then hear Jack running up the stairs he runs into my room. I look at him shocked "Jack, where you just outside?" he looks at me confused "yes Lily I was down the bottom of the drive talking to my dad why?" I reply fast without even thinking "Jack I heard your dad telling you I wasn't angry anymore?" Jack looked like he had seen a ghost "Jack what is it?" . Jack wouldn't answer me so I shouted "Jack tell me!" he quickly looked away from me then back again "what were you thinking before you heard him?" I started to become confused why did he care? where is this leading too?. "I was just wondering where you had went to and who you where with then I heard what your dad said why?" Jack smiles so much he should be jumping up and down clapping his hands like a little child. "mum, dad come quick!" he shouts before coming and hugging me into him, I wince a little.

Mr and Mrs Hansen run in "what's wrong son" Mrs Hansen says, Mr Hansen smiled just like Jack. Jack looks at me, "Lily, you are officially my mate" "Jack don't be so silly I've been your mate for weeks now" I laugh at him, he shakes his head "no Lily when you heard my dad we where at the bottom of the drive no human could hear that far away, you have one of my powers, I havnt told you about them yet, but now I have to tell you everything, because now that you have one, you could get the other three as well" I gasped as my mouth fell open "what!?".
