chapter nineteen

*chapter nineteen*

Lily's pov

it's been three months since Miracle was born, she is growing so fast, she looks around three already! everything has been so calm and peaceful from we left Christians, Jack, Miracle and I were able to go home just a few days after. it was amazing to finally be back home in our own home. Jack got stuck in to decorating a room for Miracle, it took him just over three days, when he showed me I fell in love instantly, the walls where painted baby pink with little purple flowers going around the middle of the room like a boarder. Miracle's cot was placed along the centre wall, above it wrote these words in a beautiful white and gold font

I remember reading it, I still do everytime I enter our daughter's room, we are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl. The cot was then replaced with a princess bed with white sparkling drapes that hung neatly around it.

I have been in bed all day with menstrual cramps along with hot and cold sweats, Jack has took Miracle to the mall to get a new outfit, and probably a birthday card for me as it's my 18th birthday party tomorrow, I lay with my hot water bottle, a box of milk tray chocolates watching a movie called pretty women, I had basically cried the whole way through it with my hormones being sky high. Once the movie was over I climbed out of bed and walked to the bathroom, I turned the warm water on to let the bath fill whilst adding some bubble bath in to make a lot of bubbles. I slowly stripped off and climbed into the bath to let the warm water slowly fill my body, once the bath was filled to the top I turns the tap off, I let out a sigh as I lay back and closed my eyes.

the bathroom door opened to reveal Jack standing looking quite amused at me "are you feeling better baby?" I smiled at him knowing how genuine he was "yes, much better thank you for talking Miracle to the Mall" I replied as he walked towards me, Jack began to take his clothes off "what are you doing Jack, Miracle might come in" I gasped, Jack laughed " we ran into Sophia at the Mall, Miracle wanted to go to the cinema with her and her new man friend" he said while rolling him eyes, Sophia was Jack's sister, she was travelling when I met Jack so I wasn't introduced until a few days after Miracle was born, Sophia is lovely, Miracle looked up to her, she loves her dearly.

I smiled as I moved forward to let Jack slip in behind me, he cupped his man bits before wincing "I know I'm a vampire and all that, but this water Burns!" I giggled at his expression. "well I like my water warm, it helps with the pains" Jack killed me back so I was laying on his chest before rubbing his hand up and down my chest to cup my breasts "we will have to take your mind off it then won't we" I giggled as I knew what he was thinking "no Jack we can't I'm still on my period" Jack sighed before looking smug. He has a plan I just know it. Jack and I lay in silence while his rubbed up and down my belly and cupping my breasts again, I was so relaxed and didn't want to move but the water was being to get cold. I sat up and reaches for my sponge, I put some shower gel on it the started to rub myself clean. Jack took the sponge off me and cleaned every inch of my body, I did the same to his.

"are you hungry" I heard Jack ask as I turned the hair dryer off "yes I am quite hungry" he came behind me, gently locking his arms around my waist and places his head down on my shoulder "how about Chinese?". "yes okay just let me finish getting dressed then we can go" he looked puzzled "no need, just put on something comfortable we can order" I nodded in agreement, Jack knows me too well.

Jack and I where sitting in the lounge when the door bell went off "there's dinner he announced before grabbing his wallet and slowly walking to the door, "that will be thirteen eighty" I heard the delivery guy say, Jack handed him over some money before saying "keep the change" he closed the door and walked toward the kitchen, I followed him, my belly was now rumbling with hunger, it took the delivery over an hour to come. "what did you order sweetheart" I asked in amusement because Jack would let me pick "I ordered your favour baby, Honey chili chicken" he side licking his lips as he placed our food on plates.

Dinner was beautiful. Jack and I where talking about wedding plans, we are getting married in six weeks time, Sophia and I are going to pick my dress tomorrow. Jack has chose Dr Spencer to be his best man, Sophia will be my bridesmaid and of course my Miracle will be flower girl.

after a few hours Sophia walks through the door with Miracle, "Mummy!" Miracle shouts as she runs into my arms "did someone miss me?" Miracle giggled and nodded her head. Sophia smiled as she watched us, I looked to Sophia "thank you for taking her with you sophia" "don't mention it Lily I enjoyed our day and evening together she's quite the little Smarty pants" I liked "don't I know it, would you like a drink or something" I ask, Sophia nods before following to the kitchen "I will help you". I walked to the kitchen to put the kettle on then I lifted four bags of blood out of the fridge and place them in a pot of water to boil "so Lily are you excited about tomorrow?" Sophia asks as I pour the drinks "yes I am, I can't wait, this is still very surreal to me" Sophia laughed and lifted some cups into the living area for me. the rest of the evening was very entertaining it was lovely to have company, I excuse myself to take Miracle to bed "good night Sophia and Daniel?" Sophia laughted "no Lily this is David" I laughed "I'm so sorry, I'm not good with remember names" Miracle gave Sophia and David a kiss and hug then run to Jack "goodnight daddy, I love you" Jack looked at her "I love you too baby girl", Miracle run over and took my hand. we walked up stairs and into her bedroom, Miracle jumped on her bed and began to get under the quilt, "mummy read me a story please" I smiled "OK but just one!".

after reading Miracle a bed time story she looks up to meet me gazing at her "mummy?", "Yes sweetheart" I reply, Miracle took a deep breath "mummy, will that bad man come back again?", "what bad man are you referring to baby girl?" she put her head down "the man that was there when I was born" I sat down on her bed "Miracle I will never let anyone hurt you, and neither will your father, now get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow" I placed a little kiss on her head then stood and headed for the door "good night sweetheart, I love you" I heard miracles little voice as I closed the door "love you too mummy".

I walked back downstairs to where Jack was walking his sister out, I walked over and said my goodbyes while laying my head on jacks arm, the door closed "you ready for bed baby" I smiled up to Jack as he practically took the words right out of my mouth. Jack took my hand and lead me to the bedroom.

we jumped into bed after brushing out teeth and getting undressed, whilst pulling the blanket over me I looked at Jack "Jack is it possible for Miracle to remember her birth?" Jack looked at me confused, "I'm not sure baby, why is there something bothering you?" I turned my head to stare at my fingers "Miracle asked me was Christian coming back, she remembers him" Jack ignored what I said before lying down and cuddling me tightly, he whispered into my ears "baby I will never let anyone hurt you, I promise" I smiled as I knew he spoke the truth, I turned to kiss his lips then lay down and slowly drifted off to sleep.
