Avani's POV

I was in my room and unpacking my things when I get a phone call from Taylor

Avani:
Hello?

Taylor:
Yea hey. Um why didn't you mention that you and my sister would be back today?

Avani:
It was a spur in the moment type of thing

Taylor:
Really? Well is she still there?

Avani:
Yes she's in her room right now as we speak...hopefully

Taylor:
Check on her for me? I won't be back until tomorrow

Avani:
Sure hold on

Taylor:
Well?

Avani:
You're fucking kidding me. She's gone

Taylor:
What do you mean she's gone? Taylor where is she?where is my little sister?!

Avani:
I don't know alright?! She was here just a minute ago

Taylor:
Look for her now!

Avani:
Alright I'll message you when I find the youngest Hill

And just like that the line went silent. She hung up and I was just looking around. So her stuff is here except for a backpack. "Hey Avani. What are you doing in y/n's room?" Camila asked "um...she borrowed some of my socks and I just wanted to see if she washed them" I said and she smiled "oh yea she asked me to wash them for her. Here you go" she said and actually handed me my own pair of socks. "Thanks" I said and went back to my room. "I knew her ass borrowed something"I said to myself and grabbed Shawn's keys. "Hey camila I'm gonna be heading out for a bit" I said and she nodded her head.

I went inside the car and I called y/n

Y/n:
Hello?

Avani:
Y/n hey where are you? You're sisters asking for you

Y/n:
I came to drop something off at Charli's place. Tell Taylor that I'll be calling her in a little

Charli:
Who's that?

Y/n:
Vani

Charli:
Oh

Y/n:
Hey I'm about to head back to the house so I'll see you later

Avani:
Alright

Y/n:
Bye

The line went silent

Y/n's POV

I put my phone away and laid back down next to charli. "What did she need?" She asked cuddling more into me. I held her hand. "My sister was asking for me"I said and she nodded her head. "When are we gonna tell them?" She asked "look charli. Right now my side and your side are still mad at each other. That's why I had to hide and sneak out to get here" I said and she nodded her head "how are things between you and Avani?" She said to me "honestly I really like her. But I'm scared. I guess after you, I just never thought to date again. And then Avani was getting more serious with me and with all the drama? I couldn't do it" I said and she gave me a hug

"I gotta go. My sister is probably worried" I said about to get up but charli stopped me. "Y/n we're not gonna ignore this. Talk to me more" she said and I nodded my head "if all this wasn't going down...would you still date Avani?" I nodded my head "if me and you never ended up on bad terms would you have gotten serious with her?" I nodded my head "alright y/n now tell me. How do you feel right now?" She asked me "I feel kinda lost" I said "alright I really should be heading out" I said and she nodded her head and we got up.

"Y/n?" I turned around with my hand on the door knob "I think we both know what you need to do? And I don't want you to text me until you do it" she said and I nodded my head and headed back home. Once I got home I walked through the door and the lights were all off "hello?" I said and I tripped over something. "What the hell? Why is it so dark?" I said and I turned the flash on my phone. I went upstairs and I heard some music. It was coming from Avani's room. I opened the door and she was laying on her bed with her eyes closed. I set my bag in my room and I quietly opened her door. I heard her music blasting through her AirPods . I saw a space next to her and I just laid right next to her

I felt her startle and I felt her head lift up from the pillow and go back down. I scooted closer to her and she put her arm around me and I hugged her side and she pulled me closer and hugged me. We were both facing each other. I looked up at her and she looked down at me. She then took an AirPod out and smiled at me and I smiled back. "I'm sorry for how I've been treating you lately" I said "and I'm sorry for how I reacted when I saw you back in my hometown"I said and she nodded her head "no I'm sorry. You needed your space and I didn't give that to you. You were under a lot of stress and I didn't understand that at the time. I just couldn't and still can't let you go" she said and I smiled "Avani?" She looked at me

"I still can't of you go either" I said and she smiled big. I leaned in and so did she. It was a slow yet passionate kiss. "Is there ever a chance that I could get a second chance?" She said to me "no" I said and she was scooting away. I then pulled her closer "what I meant was, I'm the one who should be asking. Is there any way that I could get a second chance?" I said and she nodded her head and smiled wide then pecked my lips. "What were you listening to?" I said "beach bunny" she said and gave me her other air pod. We cuddled while listening to music.
