CHAPTER TWO
Some other Time“A’Xian, here’s your coffee…” Their Eldest sister called him by his endearment as she handed him the cup.
He took a sip, the bitter taste welcomed his tongue and the strong aroma of coffee helped the throbbing pain on his head to subside.
His so-called siblings gathered around on the small table and silently ate their breakfast. The Eldest sister, YanLi Jiang is working as a Teacher on Secondary Education while both him Cheng are currently on their fourth year in University, Cheng is taking up Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration since he will be the one to inherit their YunmengJiang Shipping Lines while Wuxian pursued his passion in Fine Arts and at the same time he is also a freelance photographer, one of the reasons why he loves photography it's because he likes to travel a lot.
Wuxian is wolfing down his omelette, bacon and fried rice. Shijie is a good cook, He thought.
“Stop eating like a pig Wuxian, it’s disgusting…” Cheng reprimanded him.
He rolled his eyes at his brother’s remarks.
“Wash wong wid eating like a pig?” (What's wrong with eating like a pig?) he said through his stuffed mouth.
Wuxian grabbed the tall glass of water and he drinks from it. “Cheng don’t be stingy. It’s still early in the morning and don’t hate pigs! You love to eat pork!”
It earned a laugh from their sister. Cheng was about to hit Wuxian when their sister stopped it.
“Now, now… Where are your manners? You’re not kids anymore.” She said in a stern voice.
Cheng looking so ashamed by their current behaviour, he looked down and drinks his coffee while Wuxian is still smiling down at Cheng.
“Finish your food or else you’re going to be late…” she added.
As soon they all finished,YanLi stood up and went to the kitchen counter to wash the dishes. Cheng went up to his room to get his bag while Wuxian is still seated on the same spot on the dining table while checking his phone for e-mails.
“Zixuan will be coming over tonight…”
Wuxian rolled his eyes as his Shijie mentioned that name. He and Zixuan are not in good terms with his sister's boyfriend because that jerk keeps hurting their sister for being so self-centered and arrogant. Wuxian always wondered, why YanLi accepted him when he is not worthy of every bit of their sister’s existence.
Anyways, for the record they are already dating for almost two years.
“A’Xian…” she called him, she turned off the faucet and turned around to face her brother. She wiped her hands on the white apron that she wore. Wuxian looked up to meet her sister’s gaze, worry etched all over her beautiful face.
“What should I make for dinner?” she asked while she’s untying the apron that she’s wearing.
"A'Xian! Cheng! Eat this…” a Woman wearing in beautiful Hanfu appeared before them while holding a big basket. The purple Hanfu looks so exquisite and it swayed in elegance as she quickly went to the small table of the cottage and placed the mouth-watering dishes.
She took the bowls from the basket that she brought and filled it with rice. The two men took their seats.
The smell of the lotus pork rib soup with full of spicyness filled the room. Without any second thoughts; the two gentlemen ate the food to their heart’s content.
