Storms pov
I wake up in the hospital to the sound of crying, billies still fast asleep so I creep out of bed to go see Olivia
"Morning baby girl, mommas asleep so shh" I say picking her up
"You hungry?"
I walk over to the chair and start to feed her, placing a little blanket over me incase anyone walks in
I finish feeding her so I change her daiper
I sit with her for a little while until billie wakes up
"Morning" I say to her
"Hey, how are you"
"In a little pain but,we are good been fed and changed this morning"
"We get to leave the hospital today are you ready?"
"I guess I'm gonna have to be"
"Hold Olivia while I get changed please bub"
"Yea, of course you don't have to tell me twice" she says taking Olivia
I go get dressed and come back so see Billie stood at the window with Olivia
"The world is beautiful, but the sad thing it the world can be a dark place with some not nice people out there, but from this day I promise to protect you as much as I can"
My heart just melted.
I walk up to them and wrap my arms round her lower back
"Hello" I say
"Hiya, you heard what I said didn't you"
"Yea, but it made my heart melt"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
"She's so peaceful"
"Yea, enjoy it while it lasts, trust me"
She passes me Olivia and I go and sit on the bed with her waiting for the doctors to arrive with the discharge papers
We sit talking until we hear a quiet knock at the door and a nurse walks in
"Hi, I'm June" she say
"Hiya" I reply
"So I've just got to take baby here to get weighed, as they didn't do it when she was born"
"Umm, ok" I say kinda suspicious
"I'll only been gone 2 minutes" she says as I pass her Olivia
She leaves without saying anything but I shrug it off as just being rude
We talk while we wait for the nurse to come back
We hear knocking on the door and a doctor walks in
"Hiya, it says here baby Olivia needs to be weighed"
"OH yea, a nurse already took her"
"Really? We never told anyone to do it"
"Oh, well she left a few minutes ago"
"What was the nurses name"
"Um June?"
"We don't have anyone in the system called June"
Panic enters my body
"Well Where's my baby then!" I say
"We don't know, we will search the whole baby ward for you" the doctor says and rushes out
I pace round the room nervous
