"So what are we going to do?" The Doctor asked Anne-Marie as he laid sprawled out on her couch. Anne-Marie laughed. The Doctor had showed up out of the blue last night so Anne-Marie let him sleep on the couch. Her roommate was gone for the weekend so she had the dorm to herself. Well herself, the Doctor and the Tardis seeing as the Tardis took up most of the space in the small dorm.
"I don't know. You're the one who popped in on me didn't you have something in mind?" Anne-Marie asked as she continued to scramble eggs.
"Nope!" Th Doctor exclaimed jumping up. "I was just.. Popping in. Wanted to see what you were up to." Anne-Marie smiled at the Doctor whose mission wasn't entirely just to see Anne-Marie, the Doctor wanted to see how close he could get to touching the timeline he was suppose to be in, this was as far as he got.
"Well I'm pretty boring myself. I actually have a test I should be studying for. I certainly shouldn't be riding off with you into the sunset." The Doctor grinned.
"No sunsets then, just open air, open space." Anne-Marie laughed as the telephone rang. "You gonna answer that?" The Doctor asked as Anne-Marie made no move for her cellphone. Anne-Marie shook her head.
"Might be a wrong number or someone trying to sell me something." She replied waving him away. The ringing stopped but almost immediately, started back up again. Anne-Marie eyed her phone curiously before picking it up.
"Popular aren't we." The Doctor teased lightly.
"Doctor." Anne-Marie said looking up at him a bit startled. "I think it's coming from the Tardis." The Doctor and Anne-Marie both turned to look at the Tardis.
"Yes, hello?" The Doctor answered after striding to the phone.
"Doctor? Hello is that you?" A familiar voice asked.
"Did you get him?" A man asked.
"Hush Rory."
"Pond?" The Doctor questioned. No, it couldn't be Rory and Amy, they were locked inside a time stream, untouchable. The Doctor hadn't seen them since...
"Oh Raggedy Man have I got a story for you." Amy said with a smile.
"What kind of story?" The Doctor questioned as Anne-Marie cocked her head at him. The Doctor held up a finger, signaling one minute.
"It's a pond Doctor, of blood."
"A pond of blood?" The Doctor echoed.
"Can you tell him to hurry up? Please, the Canadian government is a bit impatient which is weird considering they're Canadians." Rory told Amy next to her. Amy made a face at him and shooed Rory away.
"Yes Doctor a pond of blood. A blood pond. Come look at it. It's creepy."
"Let me lock on your coordinates." The Doctor murmured, pulling the cord of the phone into the Tardis. "Alright if I bring a friend along?" The Doctor questioned once inside the Tardis.
"Friend? What friend? You have other friends?" Amy asked.
"I have other friends!" The Doctor cried indignantly. Amy laughed at him.
"Alright bring your friend along just get here in one piece yeah?" Amy told him.
"I'm on it Pond." The Doctor replied before walking the phone out and hanging up.
"Amy and Rory." Anne-Marie stated. The Doctor nodded, blowing air out of his mouth as he ran a hand through his hair. "So is this before..."
"Must be." The Doctor interrupted. "I traveled around for a bit without them. Told them to keep a lookout for me. I guess they got bored."
