The girl ate the food that was lined up on the table as if she hadn't eaten for ages.
"Look at you... You should start taking care of yourself. You just work all the time! Couples are in a hurry to get married these past few months. They think if they get somebody to organize, they'll have peace, but they just drop everything on an innocent person. Oh, my poor little girl!" A woman hugged her daughter as she rolled her eyes.
"My wife is right. You're always planning other people's weddings, and I can't even remember the time I had a chance to chase away a guy who was trying to get my beloved daughter's hand."
Her dad's words stopped another portion of food on the way to her mouth. She looked at them both annoyed.
"Why do you care so much about that? I'm still young and I have time. Anyway... Not everyone has to get married. Maybe I'll never meet the one. I'll always be happy for others." Boyoung shrugged her shoulders and continued to eat. The older woman gasped.
"Park BoYoung! You can't say that! Spit it out! Now! "
She started to make spitting movements with her mouth, but fortunately nothing came out of it. The man noticed his daughter's face and decided to calm his wife down somehow. He hugged her from behind.
"My dear wife, nowadays young people start families later. Anyway, we are still young ourselves, and if you want to hear the stump of little feet in our apartment again, we can always- ARGH! Why is my lovely wife beating me?! It was just a suggestion..." Mr. Park started massaging his arm with a spatula-shaped redness.
"You old bastard! Just one thing in your head, huh?? I'm not talking about children right now, but I want our Boyoung to have someone to count on, someone to love her despite all her flaws and eccentricities." Girl felt offended by her mothers words. She wasn't that different from other girls. She may have looked at the world from a different perspective, but everyone had their own way of thinking. Nobody thought the same way.💐
Jungkook came into his apartment with the keys swinging on his finger. He was surprised to meet the darkness of the room. All the windows were covered but he could swear that in the morning he left the curtains up so that the apartment could catch some daylight.
He went into the living room carefully. The light turned on and the chair faced towards Jungkook, scaring the crap out of him.
"I've been waiting to do it for two hours."
On the chair sat an elegantly dressed woman with long black hair and a smile decorated with strong red lipstick. Jungkook let out breath that he didn't realize he was holding.
"JiEun! Don't ever do that again! Wait a minute... Shouldn't you be at work?"
He threw his jacket on the couch and took two cups out of the cupboard.
"I took a short break and decided to visit my favorite little brother."
With a smile she sat in a high chair by the kitchen island.
"Oh, really? I'm sure doc will be glad to hear it." A playful grin crept onto his lips. He poured water into the kettle and turned it on to boil.
"I will never understand your thinking. I mean... You literally chose your life's careers by playing rock, paper, scissors."
The lamp at the kettle went off, signaling that the water is ready. Dark hair man poured water into cups with tea leaves. With a smile he gave one mug to his sister and held the other one in his hand without worrying about its heat. Actually, it gave Jungkook comfort. He could feel the warmth he subconsciously crave.
"Can I stay with you for a few days?"
The man was taken aback by his sister's question. He scanned her face carefully. At the sight of not well wiped away tears mixed with mascara, he tightened the grip on the mug.
He did not want to bother Jieun with questions. At least not now. He'll wait until tomorrow.
"Sure."💐
"Boyoung look! It's Agriades optilete!"
Young boy pointed to a beautiful cranberry blue butterfly. The girl smiled at the sight of a happy boy. "Sungwoon, the doctor said you must drink a lot of water. I'll go get it, okay?" The boy nodded his head and returned to observe the surroundings. After entering the building, she looked through the glass door and for the last time smiled at the boy in a wheelchair and then set off to look for a water machine. After finding the machine and filling the cups she wanted to go back to the garden but was stopped.
"Park Boyoung!" She turned to a familiar voice just to meet a wide-shouldered doctor.
"Oh! Dr. Kim" A tall man smiled widely at the sight of a surprised girl's face.
"What are you doing here? You had another accident?! I hope nothing happened to you!" He started to circle the girl in search of any injuries. "Actually, I'm a visitor here. I was just about to go to the garden." The young doctor finally moved away with relief. "So... Would you mind if I joined in?" He put his hands in the pockets of his apron and looked at her with the hope that she would agree. Boyoung nodded her head, feeling her cheeks blushing.
They were walking next to each other. Seokjin jumped up slightly from time to time with a big smile on his lips, but Boyoung kept her head down low. She felt the naive looks of all the nurses passing by. Even some female patients looked at her as if they wanted to get rid of her.
"Dr. Kim, you seem to be...popular in the hospital"
Jin looked around and made all heads turn the other way.
"You could say that. After all, I am a handsome doctor." He proudly placed his fingers under his chin. The girl laughed sincerely.
"Yes, I can see that."
Her words struck the man, making him the blushing one now. He was used to hearing compliments about his looks but never heard anyone deliver them like that. And maybe for others these were normal words spoken in a very bold way but for him they were the reason why his ears were all red.
Finally they reached the hospital garden.
"Sungwoon! I brought water!" The boy turned his wheelchair towards the entrance with a big smile, but it disappeared after he noticed a man walking by the girl. He gave him an cold look.
"Who is he?" He asked the girl without taking his eyes off the embarrassed man.
"This is Dr. Kim-" She was cut in by young boy.
"No... I meant who he is to you." Jin's throat dried up under the influence of boy's piercing eyes. Boyoung started thinking about how to answer the question. She didn't know if calling the young doctor a friend wouldn't make him feel uncomfortable.
"Why don't we go back to your room? You look tired" She laughed nervously. She looked at the embarrassed man, apologizing. The girl was walking ahead, so she didn't notice how the boy with a proud face drove his wheelchair over the doctor's feet on purpose.
Jin allowed himself to scream quietly when he noticed that the two were gone. He fell on the bench holding his sore toes.
"This little man really reminds me of someone..." He laughed thinking about his younger brother.💐
"Boyoung please tell me you won't marry him! I know everyone is pushing you, but please don't do it!" The boy was holding the girl's sleeve tight.
"What are you-" Sungwoon kept talking as tears began to gather in his eyes.
""Please, I don't want you to stop visiting me. And if you get married, you won't have time for me anymore." The girl immediately hugged him hard. "How can you say that? I will always have time for you. After all, you are my favorite cousin." She smiled at him.
"Hey! You said I was your favorite cousin!" An outrageous blond man came into the room. The two sitting on the bed laughed and a moment later Jimin joined them.I really like my life.

Since the online lessons came back I decided to use this time to continue this book.
I would also like to apologize if you can feel the differences in writing at some point in this chapter. I started it a long time ago and have only now finished it.
