Chapter 3 - How about Each Other?

Three days after the deadline was set, Yasuo-kun and the gang were ordered by Tamaki to think about how the story for the new series is going to go down.

We now see the loli goddess make her way to the studio apartment where the main characters are residing. Now having reached the front door Tamaki is trying to come up with a greeting for them before making an entry. Still work was needed to get done on their manga series, so she thought not much of it and busted through door to make godly presence known to her followers.

*Bang* (Sound of the door bursting open)

"Good Morning Team!" (Exclaimed by Tamaki)

"Let's get this bread today shall we-"

Cutting herself off before she could finish her greeting speech, Tamaki stumbles upon Shigechi sitting with his head resting on the living room table while Yasuo and Akui were completely KO'd. Yasuo was just laying there like a rag doll as Akui was laying on top of him.

"Negative Tastic what the hell happened while I was away?" (Tamaki questioned with the feelings of disappointment)

*sigh*

Tamaki was quick to use a method her granddad taught her when to deal with Mangakas slacking off work.

"Hehe" (Tamaki giggling to herself)

She goes through her backpack then takes out six paint brushes and two small bottles (Okuyasu's Durian and A prince's Kiss), Proceeding on Tamaki spritz four of the brushes with the Okuyasu's Durian and the remaining two with a Prince's Kiss.

"HEHE" (Tamaki began to hyperventilate really loud)

*meow*

Huh? (Tamaki confused by the noise she just heard)

As the crazy mad loli scientist stopped her project to look behind her and see there was a stray kitten, a munchkin kitten to be exact. It must've came through the window near the front door of the apartment.

"Hmmm" (Tamaki hums to herself)

She grabs the kitten then places it next to her on the table and proceeds to do what she was planning with the brushes as the kitten watches her do everything.

"Hehe" (Giggling hysterically Tamaki couldn't control herself)

She inserts the Durian sprayed brushes into both Yasuo and Shigechi's nostrils as she did the same with Akui but with a Prince's Kiss sprayed brushes.

"3" (Tamaki counting down)

Sitting back on a chair with the munchkin on her lap Tamaki began to count down to predict when the team would awaken from their slumber.

"2"

Tamaki looks at her watch while pointing up in the air readying herself for what's to come.

"1"

*meow*

The cat yawns letting itself be known it's tired and wishes to sleep.

"Let's go!" (Tamaki pumping herself up)

"Guh!" (Yasuo and Shigechi grasping for air)

Yasuo and Shigechi had awoken from their slumber but took a second to process what was happening then they both sniffed the brushes a couple of times.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" (Yasuo and Shigechi both synchronised screaming together in agony)

The foul and putrid smell finally took its toll on the boys and began choking the life out of them as they both smacked the brushes out of their noses and rushed to the nearest areas with fresh air they could inhale.

"I CAN'T BREATHE!" (Shigechi Yelled out)

"I NEED AIR!" (Yasuo craved)

Yasuo sprinted to the studio's back window and forced half of his upper body through it as Shigechi ran out through the front door and did same but to the floor level barrier.

Hmm? (Akui regaining consciousness)

Akui last to awaken was graced by the smell of a Prince's Kiss exploiting her nose, The smell brought back a nostalgic feeling she had once had when she first met Yasuo as she pulled the brushes out of her nose.

"Oh my!" (Akui said)

Akui began to blush while she was thinking back on all the things Yasuo has done for her. The smell of a Prince's Kiss overwhelmed her so much you could see hearts forming in her eyes while she placed both her hands on her face.

"Ah.....Yasuo!" UwU (Akui pleasantly enjoying herself)

So we have the boys going through the recovery arc for the next thirty minutes as their lives depended on it, while Akui was enjoying herself quite a lot in her fantasy land.

"hehe" (Tamaki giggling menacingly)

All Tamaki could do was sit back and enjoy seeing the boys suffer while stroking the munchkin resting on her lap.

1 Hour Later...

Yasuo, Shigechi and Akui were all sitting on the couch as Tamaki was in front of them sitting on a chair while stroking the munchkin cat.

"Ughhhh" (Yasuo and Shigechi groaning as if they had come back as zombies)

"Mmm" (Akui still influenced by the Prince's Kiss)

"Don't think because I'm not Grandpa doesn't mean you can underestimate me" ~(˘▾˘~) (Tamaki confidently stated)

Yasuo and Shigechi stare at Tamaki with murderous intent hiding underneath their exhausted faces.

"ji-------" (The sound both Yasuo and Shigechi make while their attention is locked on Tamaki)

"He...he" (Tamaki says awkwardly)

"Let's get the series done and then you both can kill me later, deal?" ಠ‿↼

"DEAL!" (Yasuo and Shigechi thundered)

"Hehe, I'm so screwed" (Tamaki thought to herself)

"Okay people so tell me, how is progress?"

Shigechi leans back on the sofa as she just mentions the word progress to them knowing full fact what the exact answer is going to be.

"Well we got the setting, the character sheets of the main character and the basic premise of the plot" (Yasuo explains)

"And?" (Tamaki interested to know more)

"And the plot is dead, it doesn't sound interesting at all, even from the first panel"

Fact: Dead is used as slang to say that something is bad

Tamaki grabs the munchkin kitten then places it on the floor and puts her fingers together as she leans back on her chair looking at Yasuo.

"Ok so what have you guys initially thought the plot should be?" (Tamaki asked)

"Well A Samurai is told he has to fix his bosses dirty work far from home meaning he has to leave his pregnant wife behind and dies in battle" (Shigechi explains as dire as the story sounds)

"Hmm?" (Tamaki thinking)

Tamaki thinks for a couple of seconds as the boys watched her.

Then how about Each Other?" (Tamaki suggested)

Shigechi raises his body back up showing he is now focused and listening to what Tamaki is trying bring up as Yasuo becomes more intrigued himself to what she is about lay down to the both of them.

"What do you mean?" (Yasuo questioning Tamaki)

"The samurai, he can't just die in the battlefield right? So what if we have him make a promise to his wife that he would return for her before leaving" (Tamaki explains)

"Then the aftermath of the battle with outsiders he is dying from gunshot wounds so he rides his horse on the way back to his wife who waits for him lying on the floor at night while the moon shines on her body.

"but why would the wife be on the floor?" (Shigechi questions)

"Because these events could take place during The Great Meireki Fire!"

Shigechi and Yasuo just sit there in shock staring at Tamaki as they realised how the plot can now turn out thanks to her help without her they probably would've been in the same state as they were earlier.

"So then that mean she dies from the amount of smoke in the air and-" (Shigechi tries processing everything)

"And she knows her time is coming since there is nowhere to escape but stills waits for the samurai's return under the moon shining on her at their house then even in death her body unscathed and still beautiful for the samurai to die next to her keeping his promise to her" (Yasuo finishing off the explanation)

Tamaki snaps her finger and points it at Yasuo with a happy expression her face.

"CORRECT TASTIC!" (Tamaki happily expresses)

Silence beckons in the room momentarily.

"Ok so now we have something to go along with!" (Yasuo states to everyone)

"Shigechi! I need you to gather some references during the Edo Period books, youtube videos anything that can help us and buy some more supplies"

"Yes Sensei!" (Shigechi acknowledged)

Shigechi made his way out of the apartment studio with his barrel bag and began sprinting away to catch the next bus heading into the city centre. As for Yasuo he smacked Akui's face gently for her to snap out of her phase.

"Akui we've got a manga to make!" (Yasuo strictly phrases to her)

"Oh ok" (Akui confusedly replies back to him)

Yasuo then approaches towards Tamaki as she got up from the chair she was just sitting in and looks up to Yasuo staring down at her.

"Yasuo-kun?" (Tamaki questioned with confusion)

Quicker than a normal person could think Yasuo lowered himself and hugged Tamaki as a way to thank her for putting all of them in check in order to get the manga series started.

"Thank you for not giving up on us" (Yasuo pleasantly remarks)

As everything was so sudden Tamaki began to blush out of embarrassment at how for the first time she has been shown this much appreciation for someone who wasn't a family member but, gives in and all she could do was just smile happily and pat Yasuo on the back.

"um...yea no problem" (Tamaki muttered)

As Tamaki looks in front of her while being hugged by Yasuo she can see Akui looking kind of upset for a brief moment before Akui got up and went to get ready to start working on the manga's panels.

"Akui?" (Tamaki says with concern)

"Hm? Is she behind me?!" (Yasuo alerting himself)

"No you bigot! now let's get to work" (Tamaki dictated)

"Shit yea you right" (Yasuo responds)

Yasuo stops hugging Tamaki then sits himself at his desk looking up stuff on his computer to help him with the manga as Akui was at the table drawing out some panels that she was told to do beforehand, no communication from the two at all.

"What the hell?" (Tamaki thought to herself)

"Aren't these two meant to be a couple?"

Near on Yasuo's desk while Yasuo was researching on his computer the stray kitten was sleeping next to him. Then as Yasuo turned to his right and noticed the munchkin, he was at complete confusion.

"Whose f*cking cat is this?" (Yasuo demanded to know)
