I was hanging out with Beck, trying to get him to talk to me. "Beck what's wrong? You haven't been talking to me lately," I ask. He sighs and suddenly takes my arm, dragging me to the janitors closet
"Look, Jade, I just don't think this is gonna work out" he looks down at the floor. " What do you mean? i thought we were fine," I look at him with a worried expression. "It means I'm not happy with you anymore," he answered. "Oh, is that why you haven't been talking to me lately?..." I ask looking at the floor. He picks his head up and says, " That and...." "And what?" "........ I've been cheating on you......" I look up and stare at him for a minute and then storm out the door. "JADE!" I hear Beck call out to me. "JUST FORGET IT!" I shout back at him.
* Time skip *
I sit at the table with the with everyone in the group besides Beck, he tried to sit with us but Cat told him to get lost, which everyone was shocked by. We were all eating in awkward silence until we heard someone yell; " I'M GONNA KILL HIM" at the top of their lungs. I knew instantly who it was, a pissed off Kim Brooks. Which is never a good sign for whoever she's pissed at. I see her walk towards us.
"WHERE IS HE" she shouts in our ears "Where is who? " Cat asks. "Oh, don't be dumb, where's Beck!" she says. "He's over there," Andre points at table, not even looking up from his food to a guy who has a hoodie covering his face. Beck clearly got scared when he heard Kim yell. She runs over towards him and grabs him by his legs and yanks him off his seat. Everyone gasps, mostly the girls he was sitting with. Beck tries to scramble away but Kim grabs ahold of him and drags him away.
* A minute passes *
Beck comes back looked frightened and we all look at each other, concerned on what Kim did. Speak of the devil here she comes. She sits down and takes some of Robbie's food and eats it "Hey! " Robbie says. Kim just glared at him and he shut up " So what exactly did you do to Beck?" Tori asks Kim. She just glares at her as well, clearly showing she doesn't want to talk. "Okay then never mind, I don't wanna know anyway," Tori says and we just sit there in awkwardness. "Well, I'm going to class." I get up and walk off.
* Time skip *
* Kim's POV *
We walk into the classroom and sit our bags down then sit. "Hello class, I can tell you are all a bit moody today," Sikowitz states. "No shit, Sherlock," I say. "No cursing, Kim. But anyway, we will be doing a scene, and you can make it up as you go. Hmmm, Beck, Cat and Kim, please come up on the stage," Sikowitz says and I just send the deadliest glare to Beck and get up.
"Okay, your prompt is a husband and his wife's best friend are arguing while the husband's child is present. Beck you will be the father, Kim is the best friend, and Cat is the child, and ACTION!" Sikowitz says and goes off to sip his coconut milk.
I just smirk at Beck and he looks terrified. "HOW COULD YOU CHEAT ON AMANDA, DAROLD?!" I suddenly scream at him. "It was nothing, it didn't mean anything! " he argues. "But you still did it" I argue back "You know I love her!" he yells. "Oh, I beg to differ," I yell back. "Fine, then let's ask Ruby!" Beck says and turns to Cat. Cat just stands there and plays with her hair "She's 6, Darold!" I say, trying to cover up for Cat's daydreaming "Oh, come on, Savannah!" He says and I 'punch ' him only thing is...... I actually punched him.
"She actually punched me!" he yells, breaking character and turning to Sikowitz. "Did not," I retorted. "STUDENTS, CALM DOWN. We will just ask the rest of the class." I smirk at Beck. The whole class shakes their heads and says "No, she didn't," in unison, the group still being mad at Beck, and the rest to scared to say I did anything.
"Cat! Did she punch me?" Beck asks, turning to Cat. "Hmm? Oh, uh no, she didn't," Cat says. "Well then, that settles it, Beck, quit being a baby," Sikowitz says before the bell rings and we all head out. I just give Beck a innocent smile.
"Hey, Jade!" I shout before she exits the school. "Oh, hey, Kim whats up?" she asks, stopping and turning around to face me. "Look I'm sorry about Beck-" I try to say before I'm cut off. "No, don't be, its fine Kim," she says and tries to walk off but I step in front of her.
"Well, Tori's having a party at her house this weekend, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" I ask her. "Oh, um sure, when is it?" she asks me. "Its Sunday, at 5:30pm" I answer, smiling at her. "Okay, I guess I'll see you then," she says, a slight smile on her face. "Great its a date," I say and walk away before she can say anything.
* time skip *
I go to Tori's door and knock, the door opens to reveal the party host herself. "Hey, Kim, come in," she says. " Thanks." I walk in and look around and see Cat with Robbie and Andre with some girl who I assume is his date, and then I see the devil himself, Beck.
I turn to Tori and say "Why is he here?" and point to Beck. " Ugh, I tried not to invite him but Trina insisted when I let it slip him and Jade broke up," she answers. "Whatever, as long as he keeps to himself, and Trina I guess." "Speaking of Jade, where is she?" Just as I say that Jade walks through the door, looking stunning might I add.

She walks over to me and says "Did I overdress?" she says awkwardly. "No ,I think I underdressed," I say, looking down at my leather jacket, band T-shirt, black jeans and combat boots. We both laugh. "Do you want a drink?" I ask "Sure," she replies, smiling. "K, I'll be right back," I say and walk away. I walk over to the kitchen to get our drinks until I run into Beck
"Watch where your going next time, douchebag," I say with a glare and try to walk off until he turns me around. "Look, I'm sorry, is there any way you can help a guy out?" he asks. "First off, get your slimy hands off me, and second, no, you broke her heart. There's no way in hell I'm helping you out." I glare at him one last time and walk back over to Jade after grabbing some drinks from the cooler.
"Here you go." I sit next to her and give her her drink. "Thanks," she says and takes a sip. We sit in silence for awhile until I speak up. "Hey, wanna go outside and get some fresh air?" I ask her. "Sure why not, this is pretty boring anyways," she says with a chuckle. I laugh and take her hand, leading us both outside.
"I really am sorry about what happened-" I go to continue but she interrupts me. "Nope, I already said it's fine, you can't control what he does. Besides, I think I already found someone way better," Jade says, a small smirk across her lips. We stare at each other for a couple of seconds until the silence is broken by me kissing her. It doesn't take long for Jade to kiss back. It doesn't last long, but I still felt the butterflies. "Look, Jade, I know its weird considering I'm Beck's cousi-" "In-law," Jade cuts me off, grinning. I smile at her and nod."Yes, cousin in-law, but I was wondering, if maybe you would go out with me sometime, on a proper date." I would love that," she says and smiles. I smile back, feeling accomplished. "Now, let's go make that douche bag jealous," I say with a smirk. " Lets," she replies and we walk back inside, hand-in-hand.
