It took a moment for Peter to calm Ned down from his excitement. Michelle, Wanda, and Vision looked on as the nerdy boy whispered things into the larger boy's ear about revealing their identities in public. The two Avengers looked on with worried faces, hoping that he was able to ease his eagerness to shout and squeal. When he did eventually calm down, Vision asked Peter to talk in private with Wanda. Peter agreed and walked a bit away from Ned and Michelle. He looked back at his friends, who were just in disbelief. Ned for obvious reasons, but Michelle felt there was something more serious going on.
"Okay, I have so many questions." Peter didn't know what to think about what was going on. The last time he saw them was in Germany during the battle of the divided Avengers. He never had any formal meeting with them, so it was weirdly strange. Additionally, there was so much mystery in that he never knew what happened to everyone after the battle ended, other than Captain America running off and his followers being locked up. Yet, here was the strange magic lady he fought standing right in front of him.
"How are you here? What happened to you and the rest of Cap's rogues?" he asked Wanda. "Why are you with her? Does Mr. Stark know about it? Does that mean the Avengers are back together?" this time directed at Vision. The two super-people just looked flabbergasted as the young hero rambled on. When he finished, Vision was the first to answer.
"The Avengers are not back together" he spoke softly, "and with Mr. Stark's knowledge, the probability of him knowing we're together is very likely." His voice turned distressful and his body language seemed to show it too. "What do you mean?" Peter questioned.
"Due to the Accords, we're not supposed to be seen together" the android disguised as a normal man started. "Or, at least, I'm meant to capture her. But I won't." He paused for a moment and reached for Wanda's hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. She responded by looking up to him and nudging closer to him. "We've been seeing each other for a few months, and while he hasn't asked about it, I think he's starting to suspect it."
The cogs in Peter's mind were starting to turn at this new information. "Wait... you two are...?" The pair looked to see what reaction he would have toward them. "Wow! Um... heh... that's something." He didn't necessarily expect that, but then again, anybody outside of the main circle of the Avengers wouldn't know that.
"You disapprove?" Wanda asked sternly, defending their stance. Peter quickly stood straight and put his hands up in a pleading fashion. "N-no! Just... a little getting used to is all." He hoped that he didn't show judgment so harshly. To be honest, he was okay with them being together.
"Mr. Parker, I don't wish to make things difficult" Vision spoke to the teen again, "but Wanda and I would be grateful if you didn't tell Mr. Stark that we were here. If we were to be caught, we'd both face consequences." Peter listened intently, trying to understand the full scope of the situation. He looked around them to be sure that no one had become interested in their little discussion. "Wanda would likely be charged with life sentences from 3 countries, and I... " He appeared to gulp at the thought of what would happen after being caught, and how he would feel about failing Wanda through their time shared together. He took a moment to look at her beside him. Wanda looked up to him, now sharing a deep eye-contact. At this moment, Peter could see the connection they had, and it described all Vision could potentially lose if they were to be caught. Vision took a breath and continued, "... let's just say..."
"I won't tell."
"Really?" the pair said together, turning to the young hero. "Yeah! I mean, we're all here to have some fun" he said, gesturing to his friends behind him to make the point. "Why should I be the one to ruin it for you guys."
"What about you're friend?" Wanda said about Ned, who was still shaking from meeting two Avengers. Peter chuckled at his friend and explained, "Oh! Ned will be fine. He's kept my secret identity ever since he found out. Just know that he might want to ask a few questions about your abilities. And MJ is the most secretive person I know. So, I think you guys will be fine."
