"Micah is he talking bout you?"

She just blinks rapidly

"Micah you alright" I asked touching her shoulder

"Yea, I gotta talk to Jacques."she says fanning her eyes

"What's going on? Is that him?" I asked

"Yea,but I gotta talk to him" She says sitting down.

"Alright. I'm here" I say looking down on her

"Oh I'm fine. I just need to speak to him" she says sipping her drink

"Good" I say

She gets up and starts dancing again.

"You gone put that butt to work over here?" I asked smirking

"Of course" she says dancing on me

"Mhmmm" I hum in her ear

She giggles and starts body rolling

"Damn" I hear chris say

I turn to him

"Sorry dawg. can I have a turn " he asked

"Nah this all me" I say laughing

Micah turned to face me and put her arms around my neck and started dancing again.

"You like the club scene" I ask

"Not really but I feel better being with you. you make me feel like I was never hurt before" she says

"My goal" I say

She smiles and continues dancing

She turns her head and stops

"Hey, umm Jacques is over there ima handle this" she says

"Ard" I say hugging her

"I'm coming back" she says laughing walking over there

Micah POV

I walk to Jacques with butterflies I'm making a bold move right now but I want to move on from him with august. and I can't do that if he has this weight over me.

"Ja!" I say

He turns to me and smiles

"You look great" he says hugging me

I breathe in his smell and close my eyes.

Memories flood my mind

He let's go and I keep my eyes close and open them to him staring at me

"You heard my song?" He asked

"Yea I did. I loved it" I say weakly smiling

"So what the problem" he asked

"First, you can't do that to me. second, you can't possibly think that just because you sung a song is gonna make me want you bak . ja you hurt me. really bad. you never treated me right. you always took me for granted and I don't deserve that. I deserve more. I am happy now, I'm finally getting my life together after we broke up and I'm want to stay happy. I can't be happy with you. I don't wanna be happy with you.i want august. he's trying to help me and I appreciated him for that. I can't be with you Ja." I explain to him.
