PART-19

VARUN'S P.O.V.

After I came back from Alia's house I was very tired. We had so much fun together. I was really tired so I directly slept without even changing my clothes.

In the morning when I woke up ,I checked my phone. For my surprise there were 20 missed call from very unexpected person. It was Natasha's father. I don't know what happened. Why would he call me? He knows I had broken up with her daughter and after our break up, I haven't talked to Natasha or any of her family member.

What could be the reason for him calling me? I was in my deep thoughts when I realized that I can just call him back and ask about what happened. I'm very stupid.

I called him and he immediately picked up call.

NATASHA'S FATHER - Hi varun! How are you?

VARUN -  I'm good uncle. How did you call me?

NATASHA'S FATHER - It's very important Varun I can't say on phone. I need to meet you urgently.

VARUN - Umm ok. But I've meeting right now. I can't meet today. I'm really busy.

NATASHA'S FATHER - Look Varun you're not understanding. It is very important. I need to meet you.

VARUN - But I can't......

NATASHA'S FATHER - Please Varun! Please!!

VARUN - Okay fine. Let's meet in an hour at coffee shop near my house.

NATASHA'S FATHER - No!! We can't meet in public. Its very private talk. Can you please come to our place?

VARUN - Okay I'll be there in hour.

I don't have good feeling. I think something bad is going to happen. What does he want from me? Why does he want to talk? I don't want to meet him. I'm sure he'll say something that I'll not like or may be I'll hate that.

I've to meet Karan and Alia in hour as we have to discuss about our dates and new shooting schedule. But now I need to meet Natasha's father first.
I need to call Alia.

ALIA - Hey Vee!

VARUN - Hey

ALIA - I was about to call you!

VARUN - WHY?

ALIA - Can't I call my best friend?

VARUN - No of course you can!

ALIA -  So can you pick me up before going to Karan's house. Mr driver is on holiday.

VARUN - Actually I called you to say that I can't come. I'm not feeling well.

ALIA - OHH god vd ! What happened? Are you okay?

VARUN - Nothing serious. I'm just not feeling good. I've head ache too. So I guess I can't come.

ALIA - Ohh! Fine I'll talk to Karan. We will have meeting some other day.

VARUN - I think I can come at after sometime. Like after 3 hours. I'll take some rest till that.

ALIA - Varun are you sure you'll come? You can take rest today! We can have meeting some other day.

VARUN - I'm sure. I'll come. I'll pick you! Okay?

ALIA - OKAY if you want to. Take care! Bye.

VARUN - BYE

I don't know why I lied to alia. I've never lied to her. I vould have told her taht I'm going to meet Natasha's parents. But may be she would feel bad. Buy why would she feel bad. Natasha is the one who doesn't like Alia. Alia doesn't hate anyone. She loves everyone. I shouldn't have lied!!. But I did. Now I can't do anything.
May be when we will meet I'll tell her truth.

I got ready and went to meet Natasha's parents.

AFTER 2 HOURS.

I don't know what to do. My brain has stopped working. Whatever Natasha's parents told me was something I couldn't digest. I can't do that. I think my life is eneded. I don't have any choice.
I can't sacrifice someone's life for my happiness. I can't be so mean. I'm standing at a crossroad. One path is my happiness with someone else's sadness.
Another one is my sadness with someone else's happiness.
I don't know what to choose.
I was broken at the moment. I was crying. I needed help but I couldn't ask anyone.
I'm feeling so lonely. There is no one with whom I can share.

ALIA'S P.O.V.

After Varun said me that we'll go late I sat in living room and started watching tv. I was never interested in television but right now I don't have any thing to pass my time.

"Alia why are you not going? Its so late!" Sara said entering living room.

"Varun is not feeling well. So we decided to go late."

"Alia you mean you're going late because of Varun?"asked sara in shock.

"Yeah why so shocked?", I asked.

"Actually I saw Varun in his car when I was coming back home. He looked all fine. May be he was visiting doctor!", she replied.

"Ohhh okay".

I don't know may be Varun lied to me. Or Sarra was right he might be consulting doctor.
I'll ask him when we meet.

After 3 hours.

I've been calling Varun from so long but he is not picking my calls. I hope he is fine. May be he is taking rest.

I stopped calling Varun and instead I called Karan and asked him to cancel meeting. He agreed with it.

I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw a pic. Varun was spotted ourside Natasha's house 2 hours back.

What!! What was he doing there. As much I remember there is no doctor in that area.
I knew he was lying. But why would he lie to me. He should have said truth to me. I'm feeling really sad. He didn't even pick my calls.

FLASHBACK

"What happened Varun? Why are you so sad?", I asked him but he didn't reply and just kept looking in his phone.

"Varun I'm asking something!!"

"Ohh sorry I didn't here", he replied.

"What happened to you? Will you please say!"

"Actually Alia my friend said that Natasha's health is not good from last few days. She has become very weak.", he answered.
So this was reason behind his sadness. He still cares for her so much.

"It's okay Varun. She'll be good soon. Don't worry." I said him.

"You know what Al, I feel really sad sometimes. I did very wrong with her.I shouldn't have done that. I had break up without any reason. I mean there was reason but still she loved me truly and I just broke her trust and heart. ", he said with a tear in his eye.

:No Vd! You didn't break her heart. Don't feel sad.", I said. I didn't know how to console him. I have no words.

After a silence of few minutes I asked," Do you still love her?"

"Yes! I mean no, I care for her and I love her but just as a friend. Nothing else.", he replied.

END OF FLASHBACK

I remembered our this conversation. When he said that He loves her just as friend and I felt he was lying.
This was conversation we had 1 month back. After that I never talked to him about Natasha. I felt very bad whenever he said anything about her. I don't hate her but I feel jealous.

Did he just lie to me to go and meet Natasha. He could have said me that he is going there. I would feel a little bad but right now after knowing that he lied to me I'm feeling way more bad.
I don't know why he did that.
And still he is not replying my messages or calls.
