Jungkook's POV
"I'm home," I said, opening my front door.
"Oh Jungkook come here, you're appa and I have something important to tell you."
I walked into the kitchen dropping my bag on the floor. Once I got there, I saw lots of luggage surrounding the table, and my parents handing each other their passports.
"What's going on?" I asked sitting on the counter.
"Well Kook, your eomma and I are going on a small vacation," my appa said.
"Oh, all of a sudden?"
"Well more of a stress reliever. Your mother lost her job."
My eomma turned and slapped my appa's bicep.
I looked at her with a sad expression. But I also thought: "she lost her job and they can afford a vacation?"
"Aw amma I'm sorry," I said getting off the counter, walking towards her.
"No baby, it's alright. This vacation is just what I need to get better."
Must be what your bank account needs to get better too.
She turned around and cupped my face. "Now I want you to be good while we're gone. We might be away for a little more than a couple of weeks."
"That long?"
"What can you not survive without mommy for that long?"
"No no it's just that . . . yeah have a nice trip." I kissed her cheek then helped my parents bring their luggage outside. Once they've loaded everything in their car, they got into the front seats and waved goodbye. I waved goodbye as well, and they drove off to the airport.
I walked back inside the house to find Jung-hyun leaning against a wall with his arms crossed.
"Guess who they left in charge?" He said with a smirk.
"I'm old enough to make my own decisions Jung-hyun. Leave me alone," I said walking up to my room.
"Hey get back here!"
I started to sprint up the stairs.
"THE DOCTOR SAID NO RUNNING!"
And that's the end of me escaping. I stopped running before I tripped. I made it up to the second floor, and Jung-hyun came to my side. He placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Jungkook-ah, I know you're old enough to not be told what to do. But you're not alone if you ever need help with anything," he said to me.
"Thanks Jung-hyun, really, but I'm fine for now," I said, removing his hand from my shoulder. I started walking to my bedroom door.
"Do you want me to get you that pill?"
What pill-- oh.
"I think I'm done with those. My concussion is pretty much better now," I said gripping the handle.
"Nuh-uh, the doctor said to keep taking them until a couple weeks; so."
I quickly opened my door and dashed inside locking it.
"NOPE YOU KNOW WHAT, I THINK I'M GOOD!"
"Oh hell no, you're taking that pill."
I heard Jung-hyun run downstairs, and then back up.
"I have it, now open up."
"HYUNG I'M OKAY, SERIOUSLY!"
"I WILL KICK DOWN THIS DOOR!"
