Blurry vision. It was the first time . . . I experienced really bad blurry vision.
The atmosphere was hot and choking. I had sweat running down the sides of my face. I was coughing and gasping. Although the room was hot, my body temperature was cold.
"Nnghh . . ."
I was finally able to put an image in front of me. I was in my room. It was dimmed, but not dark. It was both hot, and freezing.
I blinked a few times. My eyes were still watery from crying. I only remembered blacking out. My body was on something soft, so I assumed I was on my bed. Blankets too hot, body too cold.
"Help . . ."
Someone came walking through the door.
"Hey."
I looked up.
"Jung-hyun . . . what happened five minutes ago?" I asked.
"If by five minutes ago you mean your blackout, then I think you mean three hours ago."
My eyes widened.
"What happened?" I asked with my head hitting the pillow. "And it's really hot, but still cool."
I started taking off the blanket.
"Wait," Jung-hyun said, pulling the blanket back up. "You stressed yourself out and got a fever."
I didn't think that was possible, but here I am.
"Is Taehyung okay?" I asked, turning my head to face him.
"I don't know. But we could get a phone call."
Jung-hyun brought a chair by my side. I saw his hands come up with a wet towel. He placed it on my forehead. It was refreshing.
"You, stay here. You're going to be more sick if you don't take a breather."
"I just want . . . to get to Taehyung," I said weakly.
"I know, but rest for now. We'll talk about it later little brother."
I sighed. It was a sigh of relief.
"Why are you here Jung-hyun?"
"Hm?"
"You have an apartment not to far, and yet you stay here. Why?"
He chuckled.
"I couldn't leave my brother in his senior year. It's tough."
I blinked. My eyes closed.
"I'm glad you're on my side."
"I'm always on your side."
And that was the last thing I heard him say before passing out once again.

I woke up an hour later. My appa would be coming home from work, and my eomma would be coming back from the police station I bet.
I was washing my face in the washroom. Jung-hyun's door was open, so I could see him reading on his bed.
Then all the sudden, the front door opened and closed. I dropped the towel in the sink. I looked toward Jung-hyun. He was shaking his head, pleading. Obviously I wouldn't listen, so I started heading on the staircase.
