Chapter 2- Part 2, The Sea Monster

Hey guys.... long time no read. I'm SO sorry that I haven't updated in a while. I was procrastinating. So here's the chapter that you deserve. Just to let you'll know, the Gobblewonker is real in this. So enjoy!

                              =+ Bill's POV +=

After we finally figured out how to work the boat, we started towards Scuttlebutt Island. "Okay people, gather 'round the deck!" I called out. Wendy and Will walked over to me. "Okay people, what's the one thing that always goes wrong on monster hunts?" I asked.

"The idiots always being the wrong bait. They should use blood," sighed Wendy.

"What!? No," I slapped my head.

"T-the side c-character always gets k-killed immediately... bro am I the s-side character?" Will squeaked.

"No, worse. Your my very lovable sidekick that always gets a gruesome death. Better write you will, Will," laughed Bill as Will gulped.

"Anyways, the answer was camera troubles. Pretend you see Bigfoot. You hold up your camera but it has no film. You find some film but you accidentally drop the camera. So, I came prepared. I brought  eighteen disposable cameras. Four for each of you, two in my jacket, one for each of my socks, and six in this bag. We will NOT miss this picture!" Bill exclaimed. 

Just as I finished, Will accidentally flashed the camera, causing him to drop and break it. "See, that's why we bring extra!" I sighed. Then, a pelican swooped down. "Ah! Bird!" Wendy screamed, throwing a camera at the bird, causing it to fly away. Okay, now this was getting on his nerves. "Okay, we have 16 cameras now. Guys don't lose the cameras," 

"I just threw two off to make you mad," smiled Wendy. I glared at her. "So what's the plan? Lose the cameras?" Will asked. 

'Don't kill you're brother Bill. No matter how stupid he is,'  I thought. "DONT... lose the cameras Will," he said slamming his fist onto a camera. "I-I accidentally threw one overboard..." stuttered Will. "Twelve. We have twelve cameras," I said forcing a very unrealistic smile. 

"Okay.. anyways here's the plan. Wendy will be lookout, Will will drive and also be co-captain because of that argument on the shore, and I will be captain," I explained. "Ok" they both said. I walked back to the edge of the ship while the others went into position. "It's gonna be a long ride..." I sighed.

The boat jerked to halt as they reached the island. "Okay people, look alive! After this we might become rich," I grinned. We stared walking through the forest. Then I heard a movement, then voices. Wendy unstrapped her axe and held it up defensively. Then something surprising happened. Dipper Pines came out of the bushes. 

"W-Wendy! What are you doing here?!" squeaked Dipper. "Looking fo the Gobblewonker. What are you doing here?" Wendy asked. "The same thing. Mabel and I are looking for it to get ride of it," he explained. Then he finally spotted the twins. "What are they doing here?" Dipper asked, as all friendliness left his voice. I held up a camera. "Photo,". 

"Dipper where are you? You better not be talking to yourself again!" called a familiar voice called out. The right where Dipper appeared, his twin sister Mabel came out. "Oh! Hello Wendy and adorable twins! I thought I heard other voices. You too are looking for the Gobblewonker?" Mabel asked. "Yup. Hey I have an idea. How about we team up to find it?" Wendy suggested. "Sounds fun and safer. I say we do it," agreed Mabel. Will just nodded. Me and Dipper glanced at each other before saying anything. "Fine" we both sighed. "So, what can we do to get it out of the water?" Wendy asked. "Well, now that you guys have joined, it will be easier," Dipper said. "And what do you mean by that?" I asked. Dipper shot me a glare before continuing. "The Gobblewonker will only come out if it can sense pray. And the Gobblewonker prays on humans. The scent of a Guardian does exactly the opposite. If the Gobblewonker gets a taste of human blood, it will not stop until it gets its victim. So since one of the humans we have now is not a wimp..." Then I noticed everyone was looking at me.

"Why are you guys looki- wait a minute... NO! No, no,and absolutely not." I realized that they wanted me to be the bait. "We promise we won't let you get hurt. Plus, it's for the photo," promised Wendy. "Fine, I guess," I sighed. "Okay, lets go!" Mabel yelled.

"Okay, I think we are here," said Dipper. Then I heard a monster noise. Me and Will glance at each other with an excited look. Just as we entered the clearing, we saw a boat wreak and nothing more. "Aw, come on!" I complained. "Wait..." shushed Wendy, pointing to a circle of bubbles in the lake. She slowly advanced onto a rock where she could inspect it. Then the rock sunk into the water. Wendy gasped as she fell into the water. I started taking pictures of the advancing figure. Once Dipper helped Wendy get back on shore, the rest of the group ,except for me, retreated back.

"Bill...come here," gasped Will. 

"Kid, come here!" Dipper hissed.

"Oh please. I'm not even that close, see?" I sighed. Then I saw a growing shadow loom over my body. "Crud..." I muttered. I slowly turned around the see a dinosaur-like creature with teal scales and yellow glowing eyes. "Ummm, Pinetree, it might be a good time to kill this thing now," I whispered, not wanting to attract attention to me. 

Dipper nodded, drawing out his sword. But the gleam of the sword caught the Gobblewonker's attention and it let out a humongous and bloodcurdling roar. It lunged at me at hurled me up into the air. Before anyone could do anything, it plunged back into the water.

                               -*Third Person POV*-

Bill had barely any time to hold his breath. He felt as he plunged into the water. He had to hold back a scream as he felt two very sharp pains enter his torso. A cloud of blood entered the water, but what worried him is that the blood didn't stop coming. Then he saw two figures enter the water. One had bright red hair and one had short brown hair. Wendy and (surprisingly)  Dipper had come. Wendy slashed her axe down its eye, but it still hung onto Bill. As Wendy kept cutting, Dipper started to pull on Bill. Then Bill felt as the Gobblewonker's  jaws unhooked him, and that's when they headed back for shore.

As soon as they reached shore. The three began drawing in sharp breaths of air, but then Bill started coughing up blood. "Bill! Oh my gosh your hurt!" Bill heard Will scream. He looked down to see himself indeed hurt but also shirtless. Two giant holes were on his right shoulder and left waist. Wendy helped get Bill over to the opposite side of the lake, just when the Gobblewonker appeared. Dipper looked at them and said one word.

                                             Run.
