The next morning, the trio were once again strolling through the bustling streets of Tortuga, heading to the port for their adventure
Endless things continue to capture Zoey's attention. There were a street magicians doing all sorts of tricks, Rythian was sort of surprised that they weren't even using magic to perform them, there was a bard seated on a bench playing his songs with his banjo, and even a monkey playing to the music of his owner.
At the docks were always chaotic as ever, ships new and old docked, even an ancient Carrack docked with its patched up sails and worn-out wood. The B-team was seen by the trio leaving the port as its magestic, black and white sails fluttered with the wind and its golden insignia shining in the ethereal sunlight.
"Alright, we'll do a final check on supplies and the ship parts and we'll be off to our expedition." Rythian told the two to check the cargo while he checked the hull and sails.
A while later, they were off to their little adventure. Zoey looked like she was about to explode from excitement.
The wind had favoured the trio, pushing them ahead of schedule by an hour. Tee rang the warning bell signifying that the island was in sight. What the trio saw was not any good at all. The sight was terrifying, there were strong winds that began to sway the ship side to side, cyclones moving here and there and thunder, literally, rained from every side.
"Oh my gosh, Rythian what do we do!?!" Zoey exclaimed.
"Keep going forward." Rythian doubtfully said.
"Are you crazy, we'll get killed!" Zoey cracked her voice.
"Just..trust me." Drops of sweat began sliding down the skypirate's face.
"I'm going to regret this.."
As the Enderbane slowly moved towards the terrible storm, the winds became faster and stronger. The trio braced for the worst. "I hope my guess was right.." Rythian closed his eyes waiting for his predicament.
As they entered the storm, all hell suddenly disappeared into thin air.
"Waaa? What just hapened. Rythian!?!" She began running around the deck back and forth until Rythian caught her by her scarf and stopped her to a sudden halt.
"Calm down Zoey!" Rythian laughs. "It's only a mid-air mirage."
"Mid-air mirage?" She tilted her head.
"It's basically just a normal mirage, but in mid-air."
