They arrive at an inn called 'Sleeper's Paradise' in the middle tier district of the town.
The interior of the building was lit by a warm, yellow light emitted the lamps. The pictures and items along with the carvings on the wall and ceiling caught Zoey's easy attention. At the inn's counter was a
"Um...excuse me, are there any rooms available?" Rythian leaned on the counter and reached for the coin pouch
"Oh! sorry I didn't see you there," She throws Rythian a key with the 5 carved on the head. "That will be three silver coins." The woman stretched a hand to them while she worked on the leg.
Ryhian hands her the payment. "The room is on the second floor at the end of the long hall way to the right."
Walking through the hallway, the trio saw several pictures of
"Here's our room." The room was fairly small but just big enough to fit two beds and some furniture. Out the only window of room was a small balcony with a magestic view of the port.
"Okay," Rythian began to hand out small bags of silver coins. "Use that to buy whatever you want during our stay here. I'll be off to the black market to buy some new writing material and to find a buyer for the loot we got from the imperials. I expect you two to be back by sunset."
The three head off to various directions. Tee was off to a weapons shop/stand to buy himself a new gun and Zoey off to where ever she plans to go to.
In the heart of the black market, Rythian overheard quite a lot of rumors as he passed stall after stall.
Did you hear? Another town has been raided by the crew of the Sleipnir.(pretty sure I got that spelled wrong)
I heard they were looking for an Enderite necklace.
"My ship will be at dock 57, we'll meet up at noon after I'm done with some stuff."
"Heard ya got a new crewmate lad, and a girl too. Lucky." The dealer started nudging Rythian in a sort of a childish manner.
Rythian gives a dry chuckle. "The rumors are true, but I don't want to talk about it now."
"Right, here's payment in advance," he suddenly throws Rythian two large gold-filled bags. "Take care now!"
The day went by fast, the sun began to fall, Rythian was the first to arrive back at the room with two sacks full of gold coins, followed by the dinosaur a few hours later with a brand new pistol, rifle and a few boxes of ammo.
"That quite a bunch you bought Tee." Rythian examines the new equipment.
He write a question on a small book and gives them to the pirate. "No, Zoey isn't back yet, Tee. She's fine. I hope..." doubting those last words.
A while after, Zoey had finally arrived, but with another familiar person. It was Ridge!
"Zoey, where have you been all this time?" Rythian gave her a scary, but worried look.
"I-I was with Ridge, I found him messing about with some people. So I decoded to save you the trouble and brought him here. Got side-tracked on the way though."
"Long time no see Rythian." Ridge shook his hand. "So, what exactly do you need from me?" Tee places a lever beside him and flicks it towards him.
"We wanted to talk to you about the whereabouts of a mushroom island since you were the most likely person to know."
"Yeah! So I can have all the mushrooms I want! Teehee..."
Ridge flicks the lever to Tee. "Yes, I do have info on the whereabouts, an explorer by the alias The Farlander had come across one a few weeks ago." He and Tee began flicking the lever back and forth, again and again until it, literally, broke.
"Aww..."
"Putting that aside, can you tell us where the island is?"
"Next time I'll surely beat you, Tee." He turns to Rythian. "The explorer told me he spotted it near the Misty Islands."
"Fair enough."
"But, Before I go let me tell you the good news and the bad news, he good news is that barely anyone knows about it and certainly no imperial patrols there, the bad news now is that it's surrounded by storms and all sorts of crazy weather related stuff."
"Alright, I'll take note of that."
Several voices were suddenly heard outside. "Lord Ridge must be around here. Witnesses said he passed through here."
"Uh oh, that's my cue to run, I ditched a meeting I was suppose to be in, see you later Rythian, you too Zoey." He waves his hand in goodbye and quickly clambered up to the rooftops.
"That was certainly interesting." Said Rythian.
Tee nods in agreement.
