The Drakonians began a full-scale attack against the world of Ianerea and began a blitzkrieg war.
The Imperials...outgunned and outmatched and Skypirates were sent running. Drakonians were steamrolling their way to the Flying City/fortress of Skyhold. The only thing that was standing in their way was the mountains of Misty Peak and the only way through it was through Skull Pass.
Skypirates were now hiding in their biggest and most hidden(and coldest) hideout. Glacies, a fortress built within one of the mountains of Jotunheimr, a mountain range similar to its tropical counterpart, Misty Peaks. It serves as a meeting place of the 9 pirate lords(Very obvious reference), capital of the skypirate hideouts and settlements(including Tortuga) and the home of the pirate king. It is yet to be found by the rapidly advancing army of the Drakonians.
There seemed to be no hope of defeating the re-surfaced enemy. Almost two hundred years of without war has left their commanders without proper experience in real battles. However, it was all but different from the pirate's perspective, years of battling out with each other, pirate faction vs pirate faction, has made most of them battle-hardened veterans.
As their last resort, the Imperials have asked an alliance with the Skypirates. Promising a bountiful amount of wealth for all and the up-lifting of any charges.
