Out of all of my migraines, this was the worst. My head was still spinning. I had no emotion. I felt no love. I felt no happiness. I felt no sadness or anger. What I did feel, was emptiness.
I open my eyes and see Veronica sitting next to me. I don't even smile or say anything. I just stared.
"B! You're awake!" Veronica says, hugging me.
"Good morning, Betty." My mom says, bringing me breakfast in bed.
"W-why are you here, V?" I say in a low monotone voice.
"I spent the night to take care of you. Jughead and Archie were going to, but decided it would be for the best if they stayed at Archie's place." Veronica sighs.
I look at Archie's window and see him and Jughead playing video games.
"Listen, B. I love you so much. Whatever you are going through, you don't have to go through alone. I'm here for you, even if Jughead and Archie aren't." Veronica smiles.
I felt some emotion coming back to me. I felt loved, even for just one moment.
I hugged Veronica and we cuddled while watching rebel without a cause.
"Can we make a vow?" Veronica says.
"Sure, about what?"
"No matter what- no boy will EVER come between us again?" Veronica grins.
I nod and we get out of bed.
"Wanna grab a milkshake from Pop's?" I say.
"Obvi! Just us, though. No boys." Veronica giggles and I join in.

We sit down at a booth and Pop Tate comes to us.
"Betty! Veronica! Welcome back. What would you like?" Pop Tate grins largely.
"A double chocolate milkshake for me." Veronica says.
"Vanilla please," I nod my head.
Pop Tate heads to the counter and begins our milkshakes.
"So... I know it's a bad memory for me but... do you like Archie?" I turn my head.
"Oh- Betty... Please don't be mad but... yes.?"
"I don't think I have feelings for him anymore after how it all went down." I sigh.
"I'm sure you will find a tall, beanie wearing, cute boy named Jughead Jones who you would fall in love with," Veronica winks at me.
"Crap! I should probably talk to Jughead- and no. That is NEVER going to happen."
"I've seen the way he looks at you. He adores you, B."
"I have too, V."
"He is going to find a way to get your heart."
