Part 11~get over it

"Emily?" He sounded confused.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"You know what, forget about it." I say looking down at the ground.

"No, I won't, tell me, it's important to me". He still looked at me, I can tell.

"Yes, Emily. Apparently she doesn't want me to get close to you." I admitted.

He chuckled.

"Wait what? What do you mean?"

"Yes you heard right. I'm sick of this, she didn't like me since I came here." I said a bit regretting about opening up like this.

"Is that why you kept distance from me? And also Ignored me the past few days?" He asked.

I didn't say anything I just nodded looking again up at him, and then down again.

"I had a weird feeling about her". he said quietly.

"Is that why you were kissing her?"

"Wha- hold up wait, how do yo-"

"I saw you two". I cut him off.

It was silence for a few seconds, he put his hand and his pocket, then spoke up again.

"The kiss didn't mean anything to me." He said it so quietly he almost whispered.

"You know what, I don't mind even if it did mean something to you, I really don't care, literally do whatever you want." I attack.

"You sound like you care though?" He teased.

"You're not taking me seriously, you're taking this only as some kind of joke." I started feeling bad again.

His next move made me jump a bit, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, he hugged me, after a few seconds of realizing I hugged him back. Even though I was mad at him.

As I breath in, I smell again his strong manly scent, the hug made me feel warm and I felt safe in his arms.

"I do take this seriously". He whispered in my ear, still hugging me.

We let go and look at each other, he smiled at me, making me smile back at him.

We continued to walk, but this time we were on our way back.
I told him what happened with Alice, and how Emily lied to her, he seemed so surprised with each sentence, she didn't show him "this" side of her.

I'm not surprised.

"You should talk to Alice." He advised.

"I don't think she wants to hear from me."

"Come on, try, it's worth it, if she's important to you of course."

She is important to me.
Alice, as much as we are different, she always tried her best to help me in every situation the past few years.
I don't want her to feel bad about something that even didn't happened, I'm still kinda upset she believed, but I guess it's normal to feel like this in the end of the day.

We got to the front door, he opened the door and lets me in first.

Such a gentleman huh.

"Where have you two been?" Travis asked, sitting in the living room on the couch, while stuffing popcorn into his mouth.

"Just walking." I answered quickly and took my shoes off.

I really needed that walk.
Especially with him, it calmed me down, now he knows everything. I'm glad I told him the truth, I feel a lot better now, and not even stressed a bit. I didn't greet anyone else, I immediately went upstairs, changed my clothes to something comfortable and jumped on my bed taking my laptop and put it on my crossed legs.

Without letting her know, and without texting her first, I immediately call her on a video call confidently.
I wait like 15 seconds, to my surprise, Alice answered.

"Hey" she said looking at the camera.

"Hi" I said back.

We couldn't even say anything before, it stared with a quick smirk to each other and a few seconds later we burst out laughing out of nowhere.

"Dumb bitch, you really thought I did it" I say offended after we stopped laughing.

"I'm so sorry I didn't hear you out first, it was kinda dumb." She admitted.

"Yeah it fucking was". I agree with her.

"Oh shut up.״ she said giggling.

After talking with her for good 20 minutes we hang up, I told her everything, about Jschlatt and how Emily could risk it all to get him only to herself.

I closed my laptop and let out a long sigh, like everything I was stressing about got out with the sigh.
I read the time on my phone to see its 17:36 Pm, I decided to check about the others downstairs.

I go downstairs to see only few of them, Ted, Madi and Cooper were in the kitchen, I could smell something good, I walked in and they all stopped talking and smiled at me, I smiled back and then they continued to talk.
I grabbed a glass of water and walked to living room, making myself comfortable on the couch, I lay down in a weird but comfy position while checking social media on my phone.

Not so long after, I could feel the other side of the couch filling the space, I looked to see it was Jschlatt, he smiled at me and I put my legs on him without thinking twice, we both got comfortable and just watched whatever was on tv.

I could see Carson walking towards us, sitting on the floor, before he set down, he looked at me and wiggled his eyebrows, realizing in what position we are, I rolled my eyes at him and smiled softly.

"Aye, we should try out the pool tomorrow." Carson suddenly said.

The others agreed.
I had no problem with it to be honest, I should also invite Ronnie.
