The trip to Dathomir was delayed since Greez had to make a pitstop at the port Mos Eisley. He needed to get some food and refuel the Mantis. Cal and TN hung out in her room, the girl sitting at her desk and drawing while Cal studied her stormtrooper helmet. Headphones covered TN's ears as she listened to soft music.
Cal stood up and walked over to her, his one hand running over the scars on her neck. She flinched from the sudden contact but instantly melted into his touch. Cal leaned down and pressed his lips to her neck, the girl smiling in contentment and sighing. She took off her headphones and stood up, turning toward him and kissing his lips softly. His hands rested on her hips gently but slipped under her shirt to trace the small scars on her body.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." Cal whispered to her as she rested her hands on his chest. TN leaned her forehead against his and pressed a kiss to his lips. She could never get enough of him. The feeling he gave her was exhilarating but also calming.
"I could tell." The girl joked and let got of him. She sat down on her bed and Cal followed. TN leaned against the wall and Cal laid between her legs, his head resting on her stomach. They were silent again, TN playing with his hair and the boy relaxing.
"Cal, I think it's time I tell you everything." She muttered to him, her eyes staring at the wall. A weight surfaced on her chest as she thought about how she could tell him about what she had done. Would he still want her? Would Cal get angry like last time?
Will he believe me this time about the Jedi padawan attacking me?
Cal sat up and turned to face her, leaning on his arms and crossing his legs. TN breathed in deeply, her anxiety skyrocketing as she fiddled with her hands. He waited patiently as TN started to speak again.
"As I've told you before, I was raised in an Imperial home, but I don't think I ever told you I was taken away from my actual parents when I was little. In a way, we're the same: lost and not knowing who we are except what we were told to be.
"I grew up nameless since I was registered to be a stormtrooper at a young age. The name I have now is the only real piece of identity I have. It's the only piece of my past I have left and the only thing which remains of my dignity. Before we got along, when you insulted me about my name, it was hurtful and...you almost made me cry."
Cal looked away in guilt but she grabbed his hand to show she forgave him. He held her hand tightly and she continued to speak.
"Anyway, as you know, I became a stormtrooper and was sent to kill surviving Jedi members. I didn't know any better and I was trained and programmed to follow any orders given, no matter how ruthless they were.
"In the Academy, I was transferred to train with Inquisitors and become a Purge Trooper. I had the skill set, the ruthlessness, the agility; I was qualified for the position. Again, I didn't know any better and I just wanted to make my foster parents proud. While being denied the position damaged my ego, becoming a stormtrooper was a big accomplishment. Female troopers are rare and I, along with three other girls, joined in the Imperial cause.
"Missions were a breeze, but it wasn't until I met that scared little Padawan girl that I started to see things differently. The Empire no longer seemed bright and shiny, but rather an abyss of hopelessness. The injuries from her remind me everyday that I can never erase what I did. It doesn't matter what I do now. Everyone will see me as a stormtrooper or some monster of the Empire.
"But then I met Cere and Greez."
TN's jaw clenched as she resisted the urge to cry bitterly. Cal scooter beside her and hugged her to his chest. She gratefully accepted the gesture and rested her arm on his chest.
"The two found me half dead on a planet where ravagers got a hold of me. I had no provisions and I was starving. Those nasty bastards took my belongings and left me to die. Cere and Greez brought me back to the Mantis and helped nurse me back to health. I was a little wary about them at first, but I was thankful. When they offered the charter, I agreed to it and helped them in anyway possible.
"And then...I met you, and you changed everything about me."
She slowly sat up, inhaling deeply, and moved to straddle his hips. She sat on top of him, her arms resting on his shoulders and a soft expression on her face. Cal stared back at her before kissing her softly.
"TN, you're not a stormtrooper. You're you and that's what made me fall in love with you. Even if you were kinda annoying at first.." Cal muttered in amusement to her as he caressed her face. TN chuckled and looked down, a blush surfacing in her cheeks. He ran his gloved fingers down her neck and to her tank top strap. He fiddled with the two straps on her shoulder before leaning forward and kissing her bare shoulder. TN closed her eyes, her breath ragged as she pressed herself against him.
Before long, Cal had her pinned beneath him and his hands explored her body. He didn't try to undress her since he respected her and felt it would escalate quickly if it happened. In his mind, he was not ready for that and, unknown to him, neither was TN. She did, however, allow him free reign of touching her abdomen and let him trail kisses down her jawline and down her neck.
TN had her legs wrapped around his waist and caressed his face as he kissed her. Everything about him made her heart race and her face burn red from her strong feelings toward him. The boy above her made her feel alive and as if she could fly.
While Cal got too carried away and started to pull TN's shirt off, Cere knocked on the door to tell him they arrived on Dathomir. The redhead sighed to himself before telling her he would be out in a few ticks. TN sighed and pulled him back into a kiss before letting go of him.
"I guess I'll see you later?" TN asked as she held him to her.
"Yeah." He mumbled in her ear before sitting up and fixing his appearance. He grabbed his lightsaber and TN stood to see him out. Her injured arm ached a little and any other wounds made her hurt. She pushed it down as to not worry Cal.
Cal left the Mantis and headed to the temple on Dathomir. TN watched him from the bay doors, smiling softly as she watched his figure disappear in the distance. Cere approached her, a knowing grin on her face.
"What?" TN asked in confusion, her arms crossed and her usual scowl coming on her face.
"Oh nothing, but those light red marks on your neck say otherwise."
TN blushed darkly from...was it embarrassment? Shock? Arousal? She didn't know. Her hand flew up to her neck and she moved her hair to cover what she could. Cere chuckled at the teenager and patted her shoulder.
"It's fine, T. As long as whatever you two have doesn't get in the way of Cal's mission, I won't interfere."
The girl raised an eyebrow before grinning smugly. Her arms were still crossed as she walked back to her room.
"Funny of you to assume you have say in our relationship."
