The next day wasn't so different as the first day.

Neither was the 3rd day.

Nor the 4th day.

And definitely not the day after the next.

It's already been a month since Onceler started promoting his thneed in Greenville.

It's already been a month of him singing "Everybody Needs a Thneed" in front of his unsupportive crowd.

A month of observing him playing his guitar naturally.

A month of hearing his lovely and dazzling singing voice.

A month of seeing his strange optimism still going strong.

A month of still having the thneed on his neck.

A month of people still throwing tomatoes.

A month of catching the tomatoes.

A month of hearing rude comments.

A month of responding to the rude comments.

A month of always getting tired.

A month of not taking a break.

A month of him not realizing.

A month of still not selling his first thneed!

Ugh!

Each day just seems more daunting than the last.

Yet you just keep on moving forward, hoping that the next day will be the last.

These are the kind of thoughts that keep roaming inside your mind every morning as you head to town by yourself.

While you walk through town, you pass each familiar house, stores, people, faces, and trees. Heck, you can even walk to town with your eyes close and still arrive without a scratch on your lil' precious head!

And every time you walk on the same sidewalk that leads to Greenville Circle, you always stop the troubling thoughts by repeating the same hopeful thought.

'I'm doing all this for Onceler.'

And by that...

You keep on walking.

Moving forward.

Picking up your pace.

'Even though I face the same irritating obstacles every day, I really don't mind as long as the things that I'm doing helps change the direction of Onceler's upcoming fate train. It will all be worth it Y/N. I ensure you. It will all be worth it.'

You keep on walking with determination. You hold your head high as you keep a smile on your face. However, as you get closer to Greenville Circle, your determination rapidly turns into fear.

"But I wonder..." You say with a mistrusted look as you force your lips together.

You pause on the middle of the sidewalk. The people behind you pass by with an annoying expression; However, you just ignore them.

"What I'm doing is the right thing to do?" You squint your eyes at the morning sun, hoping to find an answer.

"I mean, I'm doing the right thing...right?" You said in a convincing tone.
