I yawn as I sit up in Karter's bed looking over seeing him sleeping peacefully. I slide out the bed quietly without waking him up.

I go to the bathroom immediately stripping out of the t-shirt Karter put on me and hopped into the shower.

In my feelings.

I hum the song by Kehlani In my Feelings.

"Mama where you bout to go?" I ask looking in the fridge after I got back from Karter's house.

She looks me over squinting her eyes.

"Lil girl don't be questioning me whatcha been doing with ya fast self?" She asked her nose flaring.

"Whatchu mean?" I ask confused.

She gave that "You know exactly what I'm talking about."

I look away from her rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Ma we not even doing anything." I say grabbing a box of cereal from the top avoiding eye contact.

I heard her hum as she walked out the kitchen.

Almost got my ass whooped for a second.

I hear my phone ringing and I see Seyani calling and I instantly pick up.

"Heyy Pooh." I say pouring Frosted Flakes into the bowl.

"Hey, watchu doing?" Seyani asks over the phone.

"Nothing why?" I ask eating with a full mouth of cereal.

"You tryna link up?" She asks.

I nod my head as if she can see me.

"Yea you must gone come get me cause ya good sis ain't got no gas."

"Yea imma come get you." She laughs before hanging up.

I stuff my mouth with McDonald's fries with low eyes.

"Bitch you high asf." Seyani laughs out.

"Bitch you high too tf." I laugh pointing at her.
