I sat in silence, looking into space at my almost lifeless brother.
Imma kill a nigga and that's on dead grandfather when I find out whose involved.
All I could hear was the heart monitor machine beeping.
"Baby I promise when you wake up you can do whatever you want, I'll even let you get that game you wanted to play." My mom whispers kissing his forehead while holding his hands.
I get up walking out the room bumping into some dude.
Time stops as I walk by him and we make eye contact.
That nigga look hella familiar.
That's that nigga we fought at Chey school.
He quickly scurried around the corner before I realized who he was. I immediately start tailing him hoping I don't lose him.
I make it outside in time just as he's hopping inside his car.
I watch him as he converses with this older man. They immediately stop talking and make eye contact with me.
They pull off quickly, I take a picture of their tag number as they exit the hospital.

"When we find them niggas, I swear I'm putting a cap in somebody ass." Jayveon says his leg bouncing.
"Them niggas at the hospital was sus asf." I say clenching my jaw.
"You ask Chey if she seen anything." My dad asks.
"Yea but she said she was ducked down when the shooting was happening but imma ask her later when I go over." I say rubbing my chin.
I still cannot believe my brother was shot. Chey was terrified and shaken up when she came over.

"I can't believe they shot him and left him on the ground like he was nothing." Chey cried into my arms. I rub her back softly.
