Tiffany treated the gods wounds with ease, she was aided with their quick healing. Loki was uncomfortable with the touch of a weak mortal. Tiffany frowned, "if you are better now, I'll be on my way." Thor grabbed her hand, she paused. "Thank you for your help, Lady Tiffany." Tiffany blushed, "It's alright, and you can call me Tiff." Thor nudged Loki, who in return also thanked her. "Thank you." Tiff smiled generously.

"Tony, may you explain to me what the hell is going on?" Tiff stared longingly at Tony. "Well first of all, Thor and Loki are brothers, well technically, Loki was adopted." Tiffany nodded in acknowledgment. "So a few months ago, Loki came to earth through an object called the tesseract." Tony showed her a few photos. "He killed more than 80 people in two days and led an army of alien forces here. We defeated him and he was then brought back to Asgard to face his punishment." Tony sighed. "Now, Thor said Asgard, his home. Was under attack by the same forces that invaded earth a few months ago. The Chitauri." Tiffany still hadn't caught up with what was happening. "So basically, Loki is evil and Thor is good, their home was attacked and now they want to stay here for some amount of time until their home is safe again." Said Tiffany, Tony nodded. "Basically... Yes. Also don't go near Loki, I don't want you getting hurt." Tiffany brushed his hair with her fingertips, "I'll be okay Tony."

Loki was alone in his chambers, he wore a bracelet bestowed by his brother which stopped him from using his magic. Right now he was a mere powerless frost giant. "How are you?" Loki jumped, he had been too distracted to sense someone sneaking up on him. It was Tiffany. "Oh, it's you." Tiff crossed her arms, "don't 'oh it's you' me. I have a name you know." Loki smiled and then frowned. "What do you want?" Tiffany sat against the wall, next to him. "Just wanted to know how you're doing. You haven't answered yet." Loki shifted, "I'm fine." Tiffany grabbed Loki's hand, it was cold. Loki felt the need to pull away, but he did not. A warm feeling overcame him. "What are you doing to me?" He asked, unable to register what was happening. She smiled, "ever since I was little, I've had a gift. Whenever I'm near someone or in contact with someone, the person feels warmth and becomes calm." She paused. Loki looked into her eyes, her beautiful blue eyes. He had never been so close to a human, a woman. Her eyes were the colour of the ocean, dark but overflowing with light. Her hair cascaded down to her thighs. Her soft, caramel hair. He had never felt such warmth in his life, it was a new feeling. He pulled his hand away from hers. "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable..." She frowned but smiled kindly at him. He turned away, he was embarrassed.

"Your hands were cold, may I ask why?" She was interested in knowing more about him. He faltered, "I was born on Jotunheim, as a frost giant." He had no reason to tell her of his life story, but he felt she was trustworthy. "Frosts giants are blue, no?" Loki nodded in agreement, "we are." He allowed his skin to return to its natural form and colour, waiting for the woman to speak. She eyed him in awe, "beautiful." Loki turned to her, shocked. "What?" He had not been called beautiful in any form, not even his true form. He could feel warmth roll down his cheek, a feeling he had not felt since... Forever. "You're crying." Tiff pointed out, Loki hid his face. "I apologise." Tiff smiled sadly, "you didn't do anything wrong, therefore, you do not need to apologise." Loki hid his face, ashamed to show his weakness. She felt sad for him, "It must have been difficult" Loki paused. "Pardon?" He did not know what she was talking about. "Finding out your true heritage... You must have been cast out." She continued. "I'm sorry." She then embraced him, giving him the warmth he longed for.

Loki's wide, wet eyes, softened and produced more tears. Tears full of sadness, and happiness. He returned the embrace.
