Alright guys I'm back. Can somebody please tag me or something because I am getting bored here.

Artemis's POV

My mind right now is havoc. A new Guardian? Seriously? When can I take a break. I looked at Percy a- wait did I call him Percy? Anyway I looked at him and found him smirking oh his smile is so perfect actually his body is per-What wrong with me!!! Aphrodite if you are messing with my head I swear that I will personally take your make up kit and throw it into the depths of Tartarus.

Speaking of Aphrodite, she appeared in our camp once Zeus left. I internally groan as when she comes, it is normally for bugging me about love lives or trying to seduce Percy with what she calls her 'feminine charms'.

"What do you want Aphrodite?" I asked annoyingly, wanting to get this over with quickly.

"Oh I just need help from Percy, hon. Why, jealous?"

"What do you mean?"

"Oh come on, you can ask the hunters. They should know what I am talking about. Anyway," she turns to Percy, "there is a demigod in trouble from abusive parents. Here is the address. Her name is Chloe, she is a special case though, she never knew both parents so she lived in an orphanage her whole life and she was adopted by abusive parents. I need you to help her and probably take her here." Percy looked at me asking for my permission. I nodded, "Just be back before dinner."

"Yes ma'am" Percy fake saluted while giving me his famous lopsided grin and two of the younger hunters,Sophie and Mary, giggled as he took to the sky with his wings.

Percy's POV

As I flew into the sky, I wondered how is her case that serious. I landed in on the roof of the apartment and went into the elevator. I pushed the level 5 button as I waited in the lift, preparing for the worst. As soon as the door opened, I heard an ear piercing scream that filled the air. I quickly busted down the door that was where the scream came from. I saw the rooms littered with beer bottles and the television blaring out a baseball game.

I kicked down another door as I saw a drunk bastard stripping an approximately 16 year old. Anger flowed through my veins as I shouted at the dude
"Hey! What do you think you're doing!"

"Get out of here kid, before you get hurt." The guy yelled. "Yeah right" I lodged my throwing knife into his shoulder as he gave a roar of pain. I took out my katanas and stabbed him as he dropped to ground dead. I turned around to the girl, she had pure black hair, light blue eyes that looked like she was going to do mischief but most importantly, terror that was written across her face.

"Who...Who are you?" She stuttered "Get some clothes on. I won't hurt you, I promise." I assured her. "That's what he said before he did this to me."

"I promise. You can trust me. Do you know your parents?" I asked gently, aware of what I am going to say. "No." She mumbled. I talked to her about the Greek gods fiasco."I assure you they had to leave you because they were bound by ancient laws. Although I'm not sure about you because demigods like us have only one mortal parent but you don't have any."

"I know a place where you will be safe."

"Really? Can I go with you?"

"Of course. Come on then let's fly back"

"Fly?" I smiled as I opened my wings. "Oh." We flew off to the direction of the camp. Chloe looked frightened at first but in the end added occasional whoops. As we landed, Sophie and Mary tackled me into a hug. You see, Sophie is a daughter of Apollo and she is about 8 years old which is too young to join the hunt but she tagged with along with us, she used to live in Burgess, Pennsylvania with her family. Mary also lives in Burgess but 300 years ago. The two of them are the most energetic of the hunt. Alright back to the story, stupid ADHD. They tackled me into a hug as Artemis smiled at me. She brought Chloe into her tent to do the hunter of Artemis stuff and came out after a while. "So how did things go?" She asked. "Oh nothing much. Just killed a man, saved a girl. Life's like that sometimes. Moon Beam." I deadpanned. I turned to her and she had an annoyed look on her face.

"Don't call me Moon Beam." She threatened, through her gritted teeth. "Why not, Moon Beam"

"Stop it"

"Yeah sure...Moon Beam"

"I. SAID. STOP!!!" She yelled as a silver aura burst and we all flew back. I looked at Artemis in fear as she calmed down and realized what she had done. She slowly raised her hand to her mouth in surprise and guilt of what she did.

"I-I... I'm sor-ry." And with that, she ran towards her tent.

Artemis's POV

What... what did I just do? Arghhh darn that stupid nickname. "Artemis?" I heard Percy from outside, "Artemis, I just want to talk about just now. I'm sorry. May I come in?" Chaos, his voice was so gentle and nice, I could have that repeating for weeks in my head. Gah stupid Aphrodite, why?

"Come in." My voice was barely a whisper. He opened the door and went into the tent. His eyes looked guilty as he started to speak. "Sorry for what happened. Umm, may I ask? Why did you get so angry about the nickname?" I sighed. I knew the reason why, none of the hunters did. Only Zöe but she's dead, none of them knew what happened 300 years ago, they can't. "Memories" was the only word that came out of my mouth. "I understand. I'll give you some alone time then." He said as he walked out of the tent, leaving me alone to weep when the memories came back.

Flashback

He was only a young boy. About 16 years old when he saw her. She thought that this boy was a stupid and foolish boy just like all the other males. When my hunt notched their arrows at him I could see fear and mischief in his eyes. He must be a son of Hermes. "Please. Don't shoot me, please" he whimpered as he raised up his hands. I looked at him in pity and a feeling that I thought that I have kept away, locked up in my heart since Orion. I signaled my hunters to lower their bows and they complied. "Thank you." The boy said with relief and respect. I was studying the boy intently when a voice called out. "Jack! Where are you! Dinner is ready, Mom's gonna kill us!" The boy looked back and yelled. "I'll be right there!" We let him through and he ran like the wind. 'Definitely a son of Hermes.' I thought. I hoped that this would be the last time that I would see him but the fates really do want to have some fun.

Flashback over

"Artemis. You in there? You've been in there for an hour already." Percy's voice broke me out off my thoughts. I quickly wiped away my tears and yelled back. "Coming!" I opened the door, showing me a very concerned Percy.

"Are you okay, Milady?" Percy asked. "How many times do I have to tell you, call me Artemis. And yes I am okay."

"Then c'mon, the hunters are waiting for their dinner and you know how important dinner is to them."

"Alright." I replied as we ran to the table meeting 31 angry hunters. "Hey Percy, I think we should goooo."

"Yeah me too..." then silence. "RUN." We both said with the hunters chasing us behind.
