Hello people. I'm back. I'm still alive... I guess, well we can get through this coronavirus together. Soo... yeah.

Third person POV

That night, Artemis had a dream, a very perculiar dream. A memory of her past. Of what happened 300 years ago.

Flashback

It was 3 months after she encountered the boy named 'Jack'. She was wondering about who he was. Zeus had asked her to go back to Burgess because there was an increase of monster activity in the area.

As they arrived at the place in the woods where she met 'Jack' they spotted a horde of monsters chasing a girl and a very familiar boy. The boy took out a celestial bronze knife as he slashed and hacked through the monsters, gesturing and yelling to his sister to run.

The hunters helped 'Jack' with the monsters and rescued his sister.

"Thank you Lady Artemis" 'Jack' said, "I'm sorry about the intrusion 3 months ago." She was confused by his actions as most males would not have apologized and would have gotten to her already. "What is your name?" She asked. "I'm Jack, Jack Frost. Son of Hermes. I have a feeling that you are going to stay here for quite a long time." Little did she know that their fates were meant to be something different.

For the next five months, she and the hunt stayed there until the monster situation decreases. They sometimes hung out with Jack once they knew that he was not like other males. They learnt that Jack has a gift, that he could make people smile or even laugh in the scariest situations.

The monster activity has decreased and the hunters were eager to go home. It was at night where Jack awake. He brought Artemis to the tallest tree near to his house. At the top of the tree, they watched the stars mesmerized by how beautiful it is.

"Artemis," Jack broke the silence, "Yes?" She waited for Jack to respond. "Happy birthday, Moon Beam." He said giving her a titanium and silver hunting knife that on the handle had the words 'Moon Beam' on it. "My hunters are moving out tomorrow."

"I know, I know." They looked into each other's eyes, lost in them. They leaned in closer and closer until they could feel their breaths fanning across their necks. Jack decided to close in the gap and slammed his lips into hers. Artemis, shocked by what happened but kissed back. They broke apart grinning and panting. "Who would know that the great Artemis the man-hater, would like one." Jack said like he had won a contest by doing the stupidest thing ever. Suddenly, an arrow whizzed past them. They turned to see who it was and saw Zoe about to draw another arrow. She wanted to intervene but before she could say anything, he jumped off the tree and ran to his house.

The next day

The hunters had packed up he saw him ice skating with his sister, she smiled to himself knowing how silly he may be sometimes. She watched from the bushes, aware not to show herself to Jack. But then something happened, the ice below his sister cracked. "Jack, I'm scared" she whispered. "That's okay... lets have some fun instead."

"No! You'll trick me!" She cried. "Like you always do!"

"I promise. I will never let you go." He said, "Let's play hopscotch, like we always played. I'll go first. 1.
2. 3!" He hopped over to a stick with an end that was curved so it looked like a shepherd's staff and picked it up. "Now it's your turn. 1..." She took one small step. "2..." another one. "3!" He yelled as he grabbed her foot with the curved side of the stick and pushed her out, switching places in the process. They laughed with joy until the ice cracked below Jack as he fell into the ice. "JACK!!!" Artemis and his sister cried, as he sunk into a pool of ice cold water.
