Chapter 6: Its starting to get better

Once again I apologize for being MIA, but recently I rethought of more ideas for the story and a different part on how they end up together. Enjoy! Also gonna be a longer chapter since you deserve it. Anyways I been reading fanfics lately and I hate it when people rush into making characters all lovey dovey kissy gf bf and it's only like the first page so I promise I've got a couple more chapters before that happens! Okay? Okay.

I rolled out of bed at 9:02 and decided to stay in bed for a while. The sun rays danced on my carpet. They had peaked in through the gaps between the shades. Seemed like a beautiful day outside. So I decided not to waste it. I grabbed my phone and texted Jordan.

~Wanna grab some food from the store and hit the beach? Make it a picnic day?~

I hit send and decided to go snag some breakfast. I opened my fridge to see that my food stock was running low and I would have to go shopping after I got back from the beach with Jordan. A ding was heard from my bedroom and I decided to get it once food was in my now growling furiously belly.

"AHHH Godzilla! Please don't eat me!" I screeched in a high pitched voice as I stood on a chair trying to reach the cereal. I swear I have mental issues sometimes. Jumping down from the chair, I opened the cupboard and grabbed a bowl. Pouring my milk and Cinnamon Toast Crunch has been recently apart of my weekly morning routine. I've been obsessed with the cereal lately so it's pretty much my new staple cereal in my apartment.

Taking my bowl of cereal to my room I set it on my desk and pick up my phone. I slide my phone open and read Jordan's message.

~Sure, what time? Think 5-8 would be okay?~

I text back...

~Yea that's fine, gives me plenty of time to be lazy beforehand :P~

I chuckle at my response and he replies back with a :P face. I tuck my phone in my waistband and shuffle under a pile of stuff on my beanbag to find my laptop. Dead laptop I may add. I curse under my breath and now stick my hand back under the pile of mess and find my charger. I plug it in and decide that my cereal is getting mushy and that I need to chow down ASAP.

*Nom Noms later*

After finishing my bowl of cereal while aimlessly walking around my apartment, I decide I should hang out on the balcony to enjoy the view of my lovely city. I go to my closet and decide to change into something a bit more appropriate for sitting outside where others can see me. Not that I give two shits what anyone thinks of me. Just felt like getting halfway dolled up to sit and enjoy the air.

I threw on a white long sleeved cropped sweater, distressed high waisted shirts, high white socks and threw my hair into a better bun. I slid open the screen door and felt the outside breeze I've been dying for. I opened my side storage door and got out my hammock spread. I attached it to both ends of the structure and laid in it. (yes I have a hammock on my balcony, am I kewl yet) I swayed and the sun rays warmed my face. I was really content with that moment in time. I hummed some songs and let my mind take me to places.

Thoughts of Colorado and the snowy mountains flooded my mind. My heart saddened as I remembered my old beautiful home. It's not like I couldn't see it again, but the thought that that would no longer be my home made me feel like crap. I decided to roll out of the hammock and put the spread back in the closet. I sighed as my time outside had to be destroyed by some negative thinking. I turned around one more time to see my wonderful view. I clicked my tongue and realized that this is why I came. As much as I love my beautiful mountains and quiet, I loved my brick buildings and cars honking on the street.

I went back in to see that it was 3. Guess it's time to brainstorm some video ideas.

Okay so I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I was gonna do the whole day as a chapter but since I'm tired and lots of people have been reading currently I want them to have another thing to read without abandoning this fic so yea! Comment, vote! Follow :) kk bye
