Dear Diary,
Here I am, four years later. My life has been really crazy, but I love it. I'm doing good living with Julia and Sarah. Thank god that I’ve had them to be there for me instead of only seeing weapons.
I haven't seen the owl here anytime, so that's sort of a bummer. We have moved a few times and now we have moved into a three story mansion! Talk about a good game of hide and seek... I could be lost for a week in our new house.
There, and MY mom got a job as a job as a software developer, so she earns almost 10,000 dollars a month! We are living a crazy life in our mansion! My room is, well pink. I have a pet dog and he sleeps in my bed with me. I try to teach him a new trick every week, as hard as that sounds, but it really gets easier every day that passes. First I taught him to sit, now I'm on "gimme kisses”. I named her lucky because I was lucky to get her. (Cliche, I know...)
Anyways, my life is pretty good. I start a new school on December 11, so I'm excited to make new friends and all. I looked in the brochure and it seems like a nice place. I can’t believe I’m going to a school that isn’t a collage and has its own brochure! There aren't many kids so it won’t be too crowded. My old school was really old and dirty. It wasn't exactly the warmest place to be, meaning it wasn't very comfortable.
Anyway, my life is pretty good thanks to living with my best friend. I always pray at night for god to bless the owl who killed my parents and kept my alive. I will always be happy that that owl saved me.
Some people think that I'm mourning over my parents, but of course I'm not. People are just not realizing that my parents were abusive to me. That’s okay though... If I were listening to the whole story, I wouldn't believe me either. People just won’t understand even though I try to explain. It’s like I am only invisible when I try to talk about how I’m happy, not sad. Even when I get lucky enough for them to understand, they think I’m joking, you know, trying to loosen the situation. Anyway, I just can’t wait for my first day of school.
