"Come downstairs Mell, your'e going to be late for school!" our mom shouted. Today was my first day of school and I’m fairly excited. I’m mostly just glad I got to miss half the year... I’ve heard rumors about the school having an auction to save some type of animal but I’m not really sure. I'm just thinking they will have an animal like a dog or something. Probably not something too vicious.
I ran downstairs and grabbed my lunchbox. Julia was standing next to me and she seemed pretty excited. She was wearing a zebra headband and a Dress that read this ain't twitter. I was wearing a glimmering purple hair ribbon, cool blue shirt, jeans, and boots. I felt kind of like a dancer, and I think that was because of my ribbon.
"I like your outfit Mellany!" Julia said, not skipping a beat. "Thanks" I replied. She took her pink lunchbox and went in the car. Sarah came running down the stairs and hopped outside to the car. She was wearing the same exact outfit as Julia, and was worried for the loss of hearing that was about to occur.
I kissed my dog and grabbed my jacket and backpack. Then I heard a scream and loud footsteps. Julia came rushing inside and ran upstairs. 30 seconds later she came down in a whole new outfit. Today was going to be a very interesting day, and when I say very, I mean VERY interesting.
