Part 13: Small World

"Ate, paano iyan? Naka-1week na po pala ako dito. I still have.. 3 weeks. " 

"Well, that's enough though.. And, how lucky are you.. Small world beh. " 

"Ha? Paano small world?" Nandito pala ako sa park, at the middle of the night, just to talk with this angel head. She's Angel by the way, taking care of the new deads. Yung mga biglaang namatay ganon. 

"You don't know? Small world. Just observe properly you're surroundings. I thought you're smart kid back then?" 

"Eh?" Naguguluhan lang ako sa sinasabi niya. Small world, how come? Wait nga lang.. Masyado ata ako enjoy sa isang linggo ko dito. This 3 weeks dapat seryoso na. Paano ba ako namatay?! I just knew I was just hitted by a truck... 

"Pwede bang okay na ko sa naiwan ko ate? I really don't know na talaga ano nangyari noon. Ang alam ko... nagaway lang kami and, just hit by a... truck" 

"Truck nga ba?" 

SOMEONE POV 

"Mommy!!! How's the incident coming?" 

"Honey, how many times I have to tell you... that incident is way a years then. You should have to move on. " 

"Move on?? How come I move on if I bumped into someone?! That is illegal and.. a crime. I should be in jail after that, nailigtas lang ako ng pera... " Kakauwi ko lang galing apartment. It is wayyy long weekend ngayon. Namiss ko kwarto ko. 

I'm here on my mommy's office, watching her typing on her laptop and there's a bunch of papers. Workaholic! Masyado focus sila mommy sa work nila. She's a manager from a famous company bank, while my dad is a seaman. Next month pa ata ang uwi non. I'm only child, well, I have a big brother... a step brother from my mom, hindi kami close non, ni hindi ko pa nga nakikilala yon eh. But I know he's a jerk. I hated him. 

Nakatingin lang ako sa kaniya, kakauwi ko lang and this is what I have seen. I've shouldn't known. I should go straight to my room or not going home here. It's just long weekend, and babalik ulit ako sa dati. Why they can't me a condo na. 

Nasa kwarto na ako, I just threw myself to my bed. Look to my ceiling, straight. Ugh! Asan ba si kuya, the fuck I hate those E's sisters. Because of them, wala na closeness namin ni kuya. Yes, naglayas si kuya because of the girl of her life. Si kuya na lang kasi natitira sa akin, mapupunta pa sa wala. Selfish? Nope, I just don't want those girls for kuya. 

Spoiled ako ni kuya back then, not until he met that her Eva. Ugh!!! 

"Are you sure about this Rea?" 

"I know what I am doing Ate, I need to see kuya. Namimiss ko na kasi si kuya eh! Dito sa Batangas ang tambyan ni kuya, tsaka diba sa kanya na binigay nila daddy yung renthouse. Kaya pag malungkot siya, andito sya... and I know dito din niya dinala babae niya" I was just focus on driving while talking to my best friend cousin Ate Alyssa, mas matanda kasi siya. Hindi naman ako naglayas, I just want to find my kuya lang. 

"C'mon, don't be a baby. You're 18, you need to be independent!  Joshua is big grown man, he needs a life. " 

"I hate his life!!! Siya na lang natitira sakin. " 

"Cmon Rea, when will you---- Andreaaaaa, watch out!!!" 

"HAH?" 

*BLAG* 

And that, all went black. 

"K-kuya?" 

"Okay ka lang ba sis?" I can't see a thing clearly. Meron man, but its too blurry. But I could hear my kuya's voice. W-where I am?  Am I... in the hospital?
