Part 19

this chapter is a lot longer than the others one cuz our bois are 'hanging out'

It was around evening. Midoriya was getting ready. What was he getting ready for, you may ask?

Well, Todoroki and he are going to hang out tonight. They were going to walk around the city and just do fun stuff together. (a/n SouNDs LiKe A DaTE!)

Midoriya didn't have nice clothes, so he just wore a t-shirt (which was a bit too big for him) and baggy shorts. Something he always wore because he felt more comfortable in loose clothes.  He heard a knock on his door and he skipped over to open with a bright smile on his face. "Hi, Todo...Oh, All Might..." that smile loosened some, but Midoriya was happy to see All Might as well.

"Hello young Midoriya," All Might barely smiled at the younger male. "May I come in for a moment?"
Midoriya frowned. "Is something wrong?"
"No no, I just want to give you some strict rules before you go out on your date," All Might replied as he walked in after Midoriya allowed. He looked back at the boy's face, realizing it was going red as a tomato. "Kid? Why is your face turning red like you just ate something hot?" The man arched a brow up. (a/n I know in the anime he's got no eyebrows in his citizen form But JuSt PreTenD He DoEs!!!111!1!!1)

"Because you just said that Todoroki and I are going on a date..." the boy mumbled. Toshinori stared at him confused. "But isn't it a date?"
"No..." Midoriya replied. "We're just hanging out tonight. Just the two of us."
"Hmmm," Toshinori pursed his lips. "Sounds like a date." A sly smirk appeared on his face.

"aLL MiGhT!~" Midoriya whined as his face became redder.  He hid his face behind his hands. "Stop calling it a date!"

Toshinori chuckled. "Alright, alright, I'm done fooling around." He leaned up against the wall and glanced at all the posters for a moment. It was kind of creepy that the kid had a bunch of merch of him, but it was really sweet as well knowing that he was a true fan of his. "Anyways, I just want you two to be safe while you two are 'hanging out'. Be back at the dorms before twelve, alright? If anything goes wrong, you can one of the teachers. Oh, and...don't waste a bunch of money..."

All Might continued to babble on with strict rules. He's been a bit more caring and strict with Midoriya ever since he promised Inko that he would take good care of her son while he lived in the dorms.

Another knock came from Midoriya's door. All Might went to go get it, but Midoriya got there before him. "Hi, Todoroki-Kun!" The greenette smiled. A light pink spread across Todoroki's face as he saw the smile. He smiled back, just a bit with less effort than Midoriya's.

"You ready?" Todoroki asked. Midoriya nodded. "Yep!" He looked back at All Might and smiled at the man. "See you later, All Might," Midoriya said as he waved at him. "See you later, my boy," All Might chuckled. "You two have fun and be very careful."
"Don't worry, we will."

The boys left the school dorms and walked out of the school gates. Midoriya was skipping as a smile appeared on his face. This fun night is definitely going to keep his mind off everything that has been happening recently. "Midoriya, wait up!" Todoroki said as he jogged. Midoriya looked back and noticed that he was way ahead of the other. "Oops," he chuckled. "Sorry about that."
"It's fine," Todoroki replied as he finally caught up with the shorter boy. The two started to walk again. They even started a conversation, mostly talking about the funniest memories they had in class.

"Hey look!" Midoriya pointed to an ice cream shop. Todoroki glanced at the boy and shyly smiled. "We should get some!" Midoriya exclaimed. Todoroki hummed. "Alright," he replied.

The two walked across the street. The street was kind of filled and people kept walking in front of Midoriya. Todoroki noticed that the boy was falling behind and he walked back and gently took his hand. Midoriya gasped and looked up in a panic wondering who took his hand. His eyes gazed into Todoroki's and they stared at each other for a moment longer.

"Come on," Todoroki said after breaking their gaze with each other. They started to walk as they hurriedly got out of the road.

They entered the ice cream shop. Todoroki frowned as he noticed the line. They were quite busy tonight. He glanced at Midoriya with a look of uncertainty. "Are you sure you want to wait in that long line?" Midoriya nodded. "Yeah! I haven't had ice cream in a long time, so I'm patient enough to wait."

Todoroki sighed. He really didn't want to late in the line, but Midoriya seemed too happy at the moment. He just went with it and forgot about the whole thing as he waited in the line with Midoriya.

The line wasn't as bad as Todoroki. They didn't have to wait as long as he thought. Their turn was next and they both walked up to look at the flavors. Midoriya went with Mint Chocolate and Todoroki went with Strawberry. They then ordered what they wanted.

The boys walked out with their ice creams and they sat on an empty bench. It was quiet for a few minutes as they ate their ice cream. Todoroki decided to start a conversation, even though he wasn't the best at that. "So...do you wanna go to the arcade after this?" Todoroki asked. Midoriya sighed. "I would like to, but All Might doesn't want me wasting my money," the boy replied. "Oh," Todoroki said in his usual monotone voice.

"What about going to that little shop you saw last month and you wanted to go in there?"
"Isn't that a little too far to walk?"
"Don't worry, I'll carry you if your legs get tired~" Todoroki winked. Midoriya's mouth gaped open as his cheeks turned pink. "I-"

Todoroki chuckled. "I'm joking," he said. "Are you trying to flirt with me?" Midoriya asked as his cheeks became pinker. Todoroki frowned slightly. "Oh...is it weirding you out?"
"Wha-no!" Midoriya replied as his voice went into a high pitch. "I-I just thought it was kind of cute," Midoriya said and rubbed his neck awkwardly. Todoroki blushed. "Oh, um...thanks," he said. "So are you," the half-and-half boy mumbled. Midoriya's eyes widened and he looked right at Todoroki speechless.

The blush on Midoriya's cheeks remained. It was silent a moment. Midoriya felt all weird inside, but it was a weird feeling if that made any sense. Midoriya never questioned his sexuality, but at this moment, he was definitely questioning it.

Is he in love with Todoroki?

MMmMm...most certainly this was a date Deku...pretty sure Todoroki told All Might it was one too XD
