It had been three weeks since Minhee's death. Things had gone back to normal and Eve had dug herself into business reports and assignments not to mention the endless stress of exams. The semester was going smoothly as she had planned. And the bullies had become a lot less but the bickering and taunts were persistent.

She had no say in Taehyung's choice of talking to her. He was even smiling at her when they talked and she couldn't help but reciprocate.

She was walking to her locker when her phone buzzed. She pulled her phone out smiling a bit at the message that had popped.

Demon Kim
Where are you?

                                                                    Evelyn
                       On my way to the locker. My class got over. Why?

Demon Kim
Stay there.

Before she could read what he had messaged back the phone slipped from her hand thanks to the collision with a guy who ran into her.

She fell down on her butt as she twisted her left wrist. She winced at the pain.

"I AM SO SORRY!!!" The guy shrieked as he helped her stand back up.

He touched her wrist lightly making her wince again.

"I am so sorry. I am such a clumsy idiot. I-I ran into y-you by mistake." He apologised repeatedly.

"It's fine. Even I wasn't looking. I should have been careful." She said as he handed her phone back to her.

"Umm..by the way.. I am Cole. I joined here recently. I am still new so I get lost. The campus is so huge that I forget the ends and I end up getting late all the time. So I am always in a rush. Being clumsy doesn't help much." He said in embarrassment.

"Hey..it's fine. Well, my name is Evelyn." She introduced as she shook hands with him.

"Evelyn it was fab meeting you. And I am sorry again." He said as he squeezed her good hand in his.

"What are you sorry about?"

Eve looked behind to find Taehyung squinting his eyes at them. His gaze moved from the two to the point where they were holding hands and instantly as if on cue his teeth clenched.

Eve followed his gaze to find her hand in Cole's. She gently withdrew it, careful at not making Cole uncomfortable.

"I dashed into her accidentally and she fell down." He explained.

Taehyung suddenly frowned as he held Eve by her shoulders and scanned her from head to toe.

"Are you hurt?" He asked in concern.

Eve shook her head as she was too consumed in the fact that Taehyung was again showing concern to her.

Damn. Why?

"Her wr—" Cole started but Eve immediately cut him off.

"Ahh..Taehyung meet Cole. He is a new student." She said pleadingly looking at Cole for not disclosing the fact that her wrist got twisted. For some weird reason, she didn't want Taehyung to know.
