I mentally debated to check that property out or should I just stay back. My mind was commanding me to go. What would be wrong if he really loved you? He would never be there.
While my heart asked me to stay back. If you trust him enough then why do you need to check?

I decided that no matter what... I wouldn't accuse him. I would confirm my doubts and if I get satisfied then I would break the jaw of that bitch.

I went inside my room followed by Jisoo who was tailing me everywhere I went .

I pulled out a simple black crop top and a black dress pant. I wore a coat on it as I put my hair in a ponytail.

My fingers touched the cool metal that rested on my chest. The small infinity sign in rose gold that was customised for me.

" Close your eyes!"

"Why??"

"Just do it."

I closed my eyes as he walked behind me. I could feel his warm breath hitting the back of my neck telling me the proximity at which he was standing. I felt something slide down my neck as tried to touch it.

"No..wait. Don't."

I smiled as I kept my itching hand down.

Once he had secured the pendant on my neck he kissed it making me shiver in the contact.

"Now open your eyes."

And the first thing I see or maybe in this case I feel is his soft lips on mine.

He kissed me dearly pulling me closer to him, ending any and all distances between us. Just him and me.

"This is an infinity necklace. This would tell you that my love is going to exist for you eternally. I am yours and you are mine .........forever." He said as he brushed his nose with mine.

I smiled at the memory.

I went to the foyer as I slipped in my sneakers and took the car keys which had become dusty.

We had not really used the car a lot because the university was at a walkable distance and riding an Audi TT coupe to the university would attract nothing but attention.

Lots of unwanted attention.

We always had a ride everywhere we went . Yoongi or Hoseok always gave us lift and we never bothered to take the car. Although drives with Taehyung was a different subject altogether.

Our neighbor was a good lady whose son was nuts over the car ever since he had seen it. He would come and request me if he could take it out as he had a learner's license.

That car was my first gift given to me by my dad on my 20th birthday and that boy was whipped over it. So , I allowed him and fortunately it was still alive and shining.

"Where are you going Eve?" Jisoo called out as I grabbed the car keys.

"To put an end to my doubts." I said as I walked out of the apartment.

If there was anyway I could end this shit ......was to face it.

I am a fighter and I will face it.

With that motto, I revived the engine and drove out and towards the sunset points.
