The Sleepover

Breakfast

 Virgil woke up and leaned over. He almost fell off the top bunk of the bed he shared with his brother, Janus. He sat up and climbed down the ladder. He changed out of his skeleton onesie and changed into a pair of ripped jeans and a black hoodie with purple plaid patches. He walked downstairs and into the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal. Janus was already sitting at the kitchen table eating a bagel.

"Hey little bro" Janus laughed

"I'm literally two minutes younger than you" Virgil responded

"I'm still older. respect your elders, V" Janus joked

"hah hah, very funny," Virgil said sarcastically

"Hey boys! Good morning!" their dad, Thomas, said as he walked into the room

"Hey dad" both boys said at the same time.

"What do you guys want to do for your birthday next week?" Thomas asked

"Oh I was going to ask if I could have a couple of friends over to spend the night," Virgil said

"Ditto" Janus added

"Yeah, sure! You guys can invite anyone you want! I just want you guys to have a good time!" Thomas told them

Janus and Virgil high-fived. They were both excited to ask their friends the next day at school.
