Coming Out

A few months had passed. Virgil and Roman's relationship was going really well.

"You've got this. I love you" Roman said. He hugged Virgil, who hugged back. Virgil sighed.

"I'll be back up in a few minutes," Virgil told his boyfriend, pulling away from the hug. Virgil walked down the stairs and to Thomas' bedroom door.

"Dad, I need to talk to you," Virgil said after knocking on the door

"Come on in," Thomas said. "What's up?" he asked his son.

Virgil took a deep breath.

"I'm gay, and I'm dating Roman," Virgil told Thomas

"Yeah, I already knew that" Thomas replied

"You did?! How?!" Virgil yelled. Roman, who was sitting on Virgil's bed, could hear yelling, but couldn't tell what it was about, so he was concerned.

"On your birthday, I walked into the game room to tell you guys the pizza was here, and you two were asleep on the couch, cuddling. It was really cute" Thomas responded

"You've known for 6 months, and you didn't tell me?!?!" Virgil asked

"I didn't want to put you on the spot," Thomas told him, standing up to hug him. Virgil hugged back.

"I support you no matter what" Thomas whispered to Virgil.

"Thanks, Dad," Virgil said, smiling up at Thomas. Virgil went back upstairs.

"What did he say? I heard a lot of yelling. Are you okay?" Roman asked

"You're not gonna believe me when I say this. He already knew!" Virgil responded

"What? How?" Roman laughed

"Apparently on my birthday, he walked into the game room to tell us the pizza was here, and he saw us asleep, cuddling" Virgil replied. Roman laughed in response. He hugged Virgil.

"Why are you hugging me?" Virgil asked

"Because I love you, my little storm cloud," Roman told him

"I love you too, Prince Charming" Virgil replied, hugging his boyfriend tightly.
