Narrator's POV
The past few weeks friendships have been growing stronger and families have been bonding.New relationships are growing.D and Xander are now a couple actually they found they have a lot in common and they found out their each one's missing piece to their puzzle to be complete.Nic has a crush to someone she shouldn't be falling for and hasn't told anyone yet.
Nic's POV
They say love is blind but falling for
the wrong person is just on another level. Ohhh and tell me about trying to act natural when you meet with them is the hardest part.
Right now i am on my way to the music room to practice my part of the song we are performing on the festival's night. I pass through the library to see how Imogen( the librarian from chapter 1) is doing since i haven't seen her in a long time.
"Hey Imogen ,how are you?",i said as I sat on the chair next to her and as usual she was reading a novel. "Awww hey Nic long time,you have decided you are tired of hanging around the grandmas now did you", she answered laughing.
"But Gen you are only twenty-seven why make it look as if you are in your forties like my mum", i replied."Yeah well i feel like one ", she shrugged as she said that. "Forget about me love who took the facial glow i always see and don't tell me its that boy that doesn't know what he want", she asked in a serious tone.
"There is a boy i like Gen and i shouldn't like him and its been hard keeping my feelings in check when he is around me", i said."You know sweety the heart chooses who it wants whether the body agrees or not and besides you can like whoever you want",she told me ."And if the person doesn't like me back and leaves me broken what happens then?" I asked her the question that has been burning since i realised my feelings. "You know what i learnt from my marriage is that love is a game that two can play and win or lose. Sometimes when it gets tough you fold, and sometimes other people know when to hold out and life gives them a good hand and we survive. When i learnt that Michael was gay and he only needed me as a ticket to his freedom i was hurt and i thought that maybe i did not deserve the happiness i always saw from my parents ,but after feeling pity i got up and called it quits so that i would start again",she said,"but you dont know how a person feels unless you confront the person and besides a person who doesn't see a princess in you doesn't deserve you", she winked after she was done talking.
You guys when you thought you have had the worst by looking at your problems you will be lying to yourself, try listening to other people's stories and maybe you will learn that you have had it better after all. I thanked her for the advice and hearing me out and made a mental note that when i have guts i will definately tell him about my feelings.
My practise went well that day and Priscilla joined in a bit late because she had classes. My relationship with Priscilla was getting stronger by day as we got to each about each other and to tell you the truth it felt good not being rivals.
Priscilla's POV
When i moved in with my mum i thought that Nic and her friends were just faking it and would betray me when i have let my guide down but none of that happened and they welcomed me and Kyle(my nerd boyfriend).
When you got to know them they are pretty much a bunch of intresting peeps who hide their personalities in being nerds at school.And me and Kyle really fit in with them as we dont have to pretend to be people we are not. Yeah your guess is right Kyle was one of the populars and he only tolerated them because of me but when i wanted out he left too.
Our song with Nic was coming out pretty good actually and the mothers have tried to make us spill the name of the song but its just not working and the gang included. I tell Kyle everything but even him doesnt know since we want it to be a suprise for them .
Xander's POV
Yhoo guys let me tell you something , having one girlfriend is awsome , i mean its drama free people. I have always been a player since i started this dating thing but with D i feel so complete .Alex being the good human he is even warned D when i asked her out but after a few weeks he saw that i really changed and he had relaxed.
Speaking of relationships in the gang its only Alex and Nic who are single but im not worried about Nic really because shez a hotty ...and i still feel satisfied with my woman people so chill out. Alex on the other hand im worried really because i dont remember the last time he was in a relationship but he said he has started to like someone but wont tell me who she is and he said he will tell me her name when she says yes because he doesn't want me laughing at him.
Well dream catchers this is it for now see you in the next chapter maybe we can find out who Alex is crushing on and we might know about Nic's as well.
