Narrator's POV
6 years later
After graduation they all left for college and they made it a mission to visit each other in their free time. It was hard but they made it work . The couples are still going strong and Christa met someone during her second year and they are still together.
Nic and Alex got engaged and today is their wedding day. Xander being the most talkative one made it a mission to increase Alex's nerves telling him that Nic will not show up as she was already 15 minutes late.
Alex's POV
Does anyone know where they sell people because Xander is pushing me. I remember during our second year in college some dude asked Nic out and to make matters worse she was not wearing her promise ring and maan i lost it and punched the guy in the face . I got into trouble i admit but it was worthy it as nobody asked her out again. Lost in my memory lane i only looked up when i heard the bridal song as i saw my girl coming to me.
She still is beautiful as the first time i bumped her on her first day and she took me despite what people said about me.I think that was the day i fell for her but i did not know back then but i still thank God i got a chance with her. We said our vows and left for the reception party.
Xander being the bestman was giving a speech and when he was done he said,"Lets give A TOAST TO HEARTBREAKS that lead us to today"
