chapter 13

Alex'sPOV 

It was now settled we were going to ask our girlfriends to prom but just not at school like everybody else but we will have to upload the video on the school blog so that the girls would also brag about since its their thing. Don't tell Nic that i said so because my girl is different she wouldn't do that but heey i want to brag about how we proposed though so we will have secret cameras.

We had our hide out close to the lake .Well the girls dont know about it since we just found it and we wanted it to be a suprise and we are asking them during dinner.

Nic's POV

The boys asked us out for dinner .And i should remind you they haven't asked us to prom yet and the whole school knows about this to make it worse. We told my mother and aunt about it and they were so mad at the boys that when Kyle came to pick us up his charm did not work on the mama bears . Poor boy he did not even what he had done wrong and he had tried asking what we had told them but we kept quiet saying we didn't know anything .

We took a route we haven't used before and i knew for sure it was not the way to town but i kept quiet in my own lala land. D being her usual self had to ask if they were planning on killing us since they couldn't take us to prom , tell you what Kyle had the nerve to laugh at how ridiculous we sounded but kept going.

We kept going deep into the woods till we could see the lake but that was not what caught our attention. There was a tree in a heart like shaped form and it had lights decorated around it and there was a banner written PROM on it with question marks at the end.

We did not even see where the guys came from holding teddy bears and flowers. Alex was holding my favourite sunflowers with a yellow teddy bear and a box of chocolates. Xander was hold white roses and a white teddy bear with a packet of jellybeans since they were D's favourite. Kyle was holding red roses and red teddybear and white chocolates for Priscilla. Ohhh i almost forgot they werr wearing formal clothes and soft music was heard in the background and man i felt like i was falling in love with my Alex again .

I did what any excited girl would would do at this point ... dont get ahead of yourselves haha i just hugged him and gave him this longest kiss ever and when we looked around it was the same for the others .

Xander being the most talkative of the boys said "i will take it as a yes then" when we were done the kissing. Priscilla  answered him saying " this better be the last time because if you all propose to us at 25 then be rest assured i will say no",at first the boys were lost on what she meant till D said "hell you are marrying us alright this is a forever thing " . This time the boys laughed and said we wouldn't have it the other way .

The rest of the night was spent with us eating and watching movies on the projector we only noticed when the turned it on .

The next morning we went to school separately as the boys had practice or whatever they said . When i got to school it was not the most pleasant sight i must say but then i trusted Alex to know that it was a set up hell i even knew who was behind this

The was Alex pinned to the wall by this other girl i had only seen in the hallway kissing him. I think her name was Patricia or something Petronella. I did not run or cry  i waited till Alex pushed her  and man he was pissed and when he saw me he broke . Maybe he thought i was mad at him judging by my looks . The girl looked at me and smirked .

Alex's POV 

After yesterday we had told the girls we will be at school early since we had to catch up with the work we had missed yesterday planning the date. As i was passing Nic's locker Petronella a girl from my business class pinned me to the locker and started kissed me and i pushed her ready to lash out at her when i met Nic's angry eyes looked in my direction. I was certain that she would break up with me that moment but then i saw the girl smirking at Nic or was she doing that at Zayn because he was behind Nic.

And then it came to me that it was a set up they had planned so that Nic would break up with me. I couldn't help myself so i ran to Nic to explain myself. She hugged me as if she did not see what had happened and dried the tears that i didn't even feel falling and she kissed me on my forehead and passed  me to Kyle who had joined the people gathered around us.

"Awww isn't  the school slut , sorry your boyfriend or should i say  ex boyfriend asked me out to prom and i said yes so i was giving him a kiss to seal the deal", i heard Petronella saying to Nic who was looking lioness ready  to kill. I had seen her angry but this was just overboard that i feared for girl.

She wanted to continued rubbing the kiss to Nic's face when Nic slapped her. "If i hear you speak about Alex's name or even looking at him , sweety you will regret the day your mama birthed you because i will kill you with my hands. That boy you see over there (she said pointing to me) is my man and i mean nobody will lay a claim on him because he is my mine as for the prom shit you came to late he already has a date so watch it b****t or else it will end in tears", Nic finished making her way to me and when she was just a feet from me she turned to Petronella and said " tell  Zayn to plan his things when his phone is switched off and yes Alex is not my boyfriend but my fiancee ", raising her hand with the promise ring i gave her yesterday.  We heard grasps but i didn't  care anymore because the person i was so afraid to dissapoint was there holding my hands taking me to class though it was supposed to be the other way round.

"Thats our girlfriend right there ", shouted D and Priscilla went we got into homeroom giving Nic hugs. Ms Imogen who used to a librarian  who was now our homeroom teacher said "She is a keeper Mr Richwood", as was about to take a sit and i could see Xander was proud of the choice i made as he gave me a full bear hug till   Kyle had to cut the moment saying  he too was our brother.

I looked at Nic and that was when i realised i had found my other half and i was home. When i opened my arms for a hug she rushed and silently  sobbed when i told her that i loved her and she was my home .
