Narrator's POV

The Thanksgiving  holidays were close meaning that the school Talent show was close too. Infact it was 6 days away and the buzz was too much . The musical students were busy practising  and finding customs to fit their songs' theme.

With the pressure getting to them Nic and Priscilla  rarely had time to spend with their squad as they want to perfect their song so they wouldn't mess it up infront of the whole school. Nic had the buzz to thank for keeping her away from thinking about her crush because it was really getting to her .

Daniella was now getting suspicious of her so she wanted to be careful about her emotions and to keep her fellings in check as a lot was at stake if anything had to be revealed to the public. Nic did felt bad for hiding this to her sister and bestfriend but she didn't want to be broken again when learns that her love was one sided.

Nic was meeting with others to hang out for a few hours as they had to catch up.

Nic's POV

Xander had told me we were meeting at their so i was on their way there. When i got there i found out that everybody was here already, guess i took long than i thought i would. Their nanny opened the door for me and since i have met the boys we have only seen the parents once that was after the Daniella saga at her house.

"Hey babe you are late ",Alex said from the living room they were all sitting. Tell you what my heart skipped when he called me babe only if he meant it in the way i wanted him to. Yes people judge me all you want he is my crush the one i have been thinking about lately. Imogen said it was alright to like anyone as the heart chooses who it wants. But since he doesn't know yet i ll keep getting those butterflies when he calls and i just hope he doesn't find because it might destroy our friendship.

"Nic come here ,i was just telling the guys that i have news",Xander said as i sat down on my favourite spot ."Alex here said that he has a crush on someone and is going to ask her on a date soon",he continued. Tell you what i feel like my breathe has been drained from like literally i cann't breath. I quickly regained my breathing to cover how it affected me."Oww thats great Al who is the lucky she?", I asked but it was like my heart was breaking all over again when i thought i have finally healed from Zayn.

"Apparently it is secret until the girls says yes", Kyle says pouting, " he doesn't want us laughing at him " , he continued shrugging. "But Al-bear we tell each other everything", a pouting Priscilla said using those puppy eyes that she knows nobody can resist, but luck was not her side today as Alex just starred at her until she sighed giving up.

If it was on another day i would have laughed but today was not just the day. Finally Alex answered "says a girl who refused to tell us the song they are performing ", Alex said to both me and Priscilla. I must say he got us there but hey we didn't want ruin our suprise yet.

The other guys agreed with him and went on to ask how our practise has  been and soon it was time for us to go home since we had classes the following day

Xander's POV

Just as Nic entered the living room i announced about Alex's crush and knowing my friends i knew they would ask who she was , but Alex said nothing. Priscilla even used the famous puppy eyes but it didn't  make him spill.

But one thing did made me happy though, when i mentioned this i saw Nic tensing in her seat but recovered quickly before anyone noticed. Well you probably thinking I'm crazy about something like this but i figured it a few days ago that Al liked Nic when i saw him starring at her when we went there for dinner. I asked him but he said no buh i know my brother to tell when he is lying and  i know he is worried it can destroy their friendship but now that i know that they both like each other i will bring them together.

When they left i decided to text Nic
X: hey babe🤩
N: hey loverbouy wassup😄
X:all good i want to help you get Al
N: what do you mean ?🙄🙄
X: i know you like him , i saw you looking at him
N:😂😂😂and here i thought i hid it too well
X: yeah you did but not that good since i figured😋😋
N: okay if you think he will like me back 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
X: trust me i know🤞
N: okay you tell me what think tumol...nite loverbouy

Okay with this i have to get my head in the game

Narrator's POV

Xander has been working so hard these past days living clues for both Nic and Alex make them see that they both liked each other and the plan was working as both were sent on an empty hunt and they ended up being locked in the  dressing room alone.

Alex's POV

Earlier that day

X: heey my dearest brother can you go get me my backpack i forgot it in the dressing room when i went to check on  Nic.

A:why did you go there with it , besides i thought they try on their dresses tomorrow🤷‍♀️

X: yes they wanted help with carrying their bags so i gave them a hand but then i left in a hurry to go for  basketball practice ...please

A: fine i will go but you owe me man

Present

Right now i am in the dressing room looking for the bag when Nic comes rushing in."hey i didn't think i would find you here", Nic said.

"Yes Xander sent me to get his backpack", i answered." Crazy he sent me for the same thing ", she replied. Just as i was about to answer her someone came and locked the door ."Let me call Xander so that he will come open for us ", Nic said dialling his number and he answer right away and it looked like the reply  made her angry as she answered , " you mean this was you settings us up to come open to each other", she listened and then she just hung up on him.

"He said he will come after practise  so we going to have to wait till then",she told me. "What you mean come open to each?", i asked. " forget it Al it's nothing",she answered .

"It definately something Nic, you are doing that thing you do when you are lying", i said as i stood in front of her holding her face in my hands." I am afraid that if i tell you i would lose you Al", she said but i told her to tell me anyway but my heart was beating so hard because she might want to tell me that she is going back to Zayn and then i will be left alone with my heartbreak.

" I like you Al so much , infact i have for a long time but now i know that you like someone i tried moving on and be happy for you but it hurts me Al . Knowing that i like you and you like someone and i will have to support you either fucking hurts so much", she finished saying with tears falling.

I needed nobody to tell me what to do now so i followed my heart and kissed the living shit out of her. She was shocked at first but she started kissing me back too. It was like that for a few minutes till we both needed to breath.

"I like you too Nic , you are the lucky girl you asked that day but you know how i get when it comes to these things and i was afraid that it would destroy our friendship...I'm sorry i didn't say it soon", i told.And she just hugged me saying its better late than never.

Minutes passed when i said"so you like me so much huh", i said giggling in amusement. "Ohh shut it will ya , i will not say this again ever",she replied.

"Says the one who will be in the bottom moaning my name",i said laughing."You pervert "she yelled hiding her face in my neck to hide her blush.

We goofed around till the door was opened "okay lovers its time to go now hurry up" Xander said pocking his head in the room.
